Not a bad place to stop by! We grabbed a sushi and sashimi plate and a volcano roll. The waitress was AMAZING and the food was good. Considering where we are my expectations weren't super high but I am pleased to report we weren't disappointed. Def worth a try! (Honestly if I wasn't such a sushi snob I would probably give this 5 stars! If you're local or even thinking about trying, I would say to try it!)

We used all of the wasabi! Not because we love wasabi, but because we wanted to drown out the awful taste of their hillbilly sushi the rice on the sushi was somehow translucent instead of white... don't recommend! I'm glad dinners over! I'm also glad they didn't even think to give us chopsticks!

We had originally tried to eat at another asian joint in Winchester but got a refund due to the disgusting food, so we decided to give this place a try. It was a very nice atmosphere and we were seated almost immediately. Holy cow, this place is a hidden gem. We were in and out in like half an hour. I ordered medium rare filet mignon, shrimp, and rice, and let me tell you the steak just melted in my mouth like a steak is supposed to. It exceeded my expectations and then some. The portions are very generous with the price. We got two entrees, a beer, and a plate of sushi for under $50 and I was impressed by the quality of the food. It was the perfect hibachi without the show. I will never eat at another asian restaurant in Winchester UNLESS it is this place!!! I promise it is worth a try, and you will not be disappointed

Love this place! Enjoying the sunset roll and the tempura veggies and shrimp! Hot and fresh tempura, not greasy! Sunset roll with soy wrap ( I don't like the notice paper) super delicious!

This place does not suck. I expected it to, but it doesn't. Great food and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed this place much more than I anticipated. I highly recommend.

Got the dumpling appetizer and a couple sushi rolls. Food was really good. Would recommend. The service was extremely polite and the restaurant was very clean and inviting.

I'll throw a few things out there upfront, you are suppose to wait to be seated and it may take a couple of minutes for someone to approach you to be seated, since the waitresses who wait on the tables also seat people on top of handing out to-go orders. Talk about multitasking though! Those girls were phenomenal. It's located in Winchester, in the same plaza as Pebbles and Bargain Hunt. Close to the interstate and Lexington. It's more of an upscale restaurant than a carry out or delivery place. To-go orders... this is the brunt of my second thing to throw out upfront, a lot of people come in during peak times to pick up to-go orders. That seemed to be the obvious reason for slightly untimely kitchen results. I watched more people picking up to-go orders than walking out of the restaurant. THE BEEF HIBACHI THOUGH! Each of the hibachi options are super under priced, especially for the large portion that make up the meal. Each start with miso soup and salad. Both of which were fantastic. The fried rice, which also comes with each hibachi meal, can only be described as some of the best I've ever had. The beef strips were thin, lean and perfectly cooked. I'd love to try the sushi, but it will have to be in addition to the beef hibachi my permanent go to item here, but next time I'll be prepared to indulge in a lot of food.

This was the best Japanese we have had in a long time! The filet, chicken, shrimp, and salmon were cooked perfectly. The salad and soup starters were great! The salad had a creamy ginger dressing and the soup wasn't overly salty like you get in a lot of Japanese restaurants. The only think I missed was the show! This is a standard sit down bring the food to your table restaurant. The service was great too. Our waitress was very prompt.

Come here almost every weekend, never disappointed. Locally, hands down the best sushi and I order it all the time. It has never made me sick and it tastes super fresh. Their Gyoza appetizer is my favorite! The dipping broth/sauce with it is incredible. As for the hibachi, sometimes the chicken and steak can be a little overdone, but the salmon and scallops are top notch. Love their yum yum too! I couldn't recommend this place enough.
