Not your typical food truck stop, talk about fresh, quality ingredients, and made to order!! Toasties is such a great addition to the Lexington food scene. Owner Martina is so friendly and really cares about the ingredients she uses, whilst being creative, and always nailing her flavors. My favorite was the Goud Grilled Cheese! Would I ever think to put apple slices on a grilled cheese?? No. Was it amazing. YES!! The bread is locally sourced and the whole sandwich melts in your mouth! I'm also a big fan of the drunken shroomy and can't wait to get back and try them all! Their Açaí bowls are not only aesthetically pleasing and perfect for summer, BUT also taste amazing! Be sure to check their Instagram to see where they will be stationed next to get your grilled cheese, avocado toast, or smoothie bowl fix (or all the above??)!!! 10/10 recommend this truck, keep shopping small!!

So pleased to have found this gem of a food truck! Currently located between the Rolex Stadium & the Walnut ring at the KY horse park. If you are sick of the greasy, limited, made-in-bulk, items at the main horse park food stand, (aren't we all) look no further than Toasties Gourmet! Fresh ingredients are the key here at Toasties, and that's evident in every made-to-order dish. I love all the vegetarian options offered here. Grilled cheese with gouda, Brie & apples- delicious, melty and slightly tangy with the apples. Love this dish but I think it could be even more elevated with some honey or jam. Caprese toast- bright, farm-fresh tomatoes, vegan pesto, and mozzarella cheese come to life on toasted sourdough. The balsamic drizzle on top makes this item a home run.Avocado Toast- filling, healthy, and delicious. There is no skimping on avocado here. The addition of baby tomatoes and everything bagel seasoning add appropriate acidity & salt! Can't go wrong with this toast on a hot day. The açaí smoothie bowls look gorgeous, full of fresh fruit and chilled I'm looking forward to trying this item as well! Our family went to the KY Horse Park this past weekend during the Hat's Off Day event and discovered the Toasties Food Truck. We weren't sure what to order and the owners (who were absolutely amazing, by the way! So very pleasant!) patiently explained the different options for us. We ended up with the Smoothie Bowl and was it ever a wonderful choice! It was absolutely delicious! And, it was filled (and I mean FILLED! No scrimping here of fresh food items!) with a bounty of ingredients, especially fresh fruit including strawberries and blueberries, two of my favorites! It was so refreshing on a hot summer day and also, was very easy to eat while walking around, looking at all the beauty that is found at the KY Horse Park. My family would definitely order from them again! It was an extremely positive first impression of Toasties and we will certainly be looking for them at other events.
