This was our 1st time visiting Tivoli. Great impression! We recently went to see a Christian movie called "The Forge" at Tivoli and it was comfortable and peaceful. If I could give one suggestion is if they could show more Christian theme movies it would be wonderful! We would spread the word and I know many of us would make more trips to Spencer to visit Tivoli.

This review is for the actors that have to put up with current manage Jessica, and in return...the customers (me) You can't book a weekend with 2 shows, expecting either the actors, or the customers to be satisfied. She is creating havoc, just to be spiteful, besides the point she just doesn't have a clue about theater business, and most likely business at all.Mr Cook, find you another manager that is not biased. That is my 1 star review. Now...if you're coming to watch a movie, then I would give it a 4 star.Update...really need knew manager as has gone way down hill. Stagnant.

Clean bathrooms, cheap ticket prices. Adults $5, kids under 12 are $3. Movie always runs a few minutes late. Kids get raffle tickets upon entry to the theatre for a chance at having their number drawn to get a small prize before the movie. Refreshments are cheap.

Love the Tivoli! It's a small, old-school cinema. Tickets are cheap and concessions are beyond reasonable, plus they offer really cheap refills. Tivoli is great for families. They often host free kid movies. Staff is friendly. If you buy one of the Tivoli T-shirts you get free refills, how fun is that?

Beautifully-restored old timey theater that'll remind you why you love movies in the first place.A fantastic, one-screen cinema that generally plays movies that have been out for a week or two or even films that are nearing the end of their theatrical run - occasionally they'll get the really HUGE movies on opening weekend. Very friendly all-volunteer staff (there is only one paid employee in the whole operation) and extremely reasonable prices. There aren't many places to see a movie for five bucks. Also, they have Throwback Thursdays from time-to-time, which has afforded me the opportunity to see some of my favorites on the big screen for the first time (Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, The Princess Bride, just to name a few). The only major drawback is that due to only having one screen, pre-arranged deals with distributors will knock planned screenings off their list - for example, due to contractual obligations, they had to keep 'Jurassic Park 47' an extra week and had to bump 'Mad Max: Fury Road.' Completely understandable and out of their control, but it still sucks.Having said that, the Tivoli provides a great film-going experience and is well worth checking out if you're heading through the area.

GREAT little theatre out in Spencer. They play one movie a weekend, usually one that has been out for a week or two, for an extremely reasonable $5. Snack prices/refills are also outrageously affordable. I think they do plays and other live performances, but I haven't been to any of those. Inside is really neat too, looks like a classic old theatre. Didn't love the seat I was sitting in, but that's a rather minor complaint.
