Where do I start?! This was our 3rd tasting. This was the most professional tasting! Everything was on point. No time wasted waiting around. Very personable! They can probably do any cake you're looking for. Lots of examples in the shop. They emailed us a week before the wedding to confirm. He definitely understood the assignment! Exactly what we asked for. Each layer was a different flavor. The wedding cake was beautiful and delicious!

We loved using Tinker's for our wedding!! The cake was raved about by our guests for weeks after our wedding. My husband said it's the best cake he's ever had, and I completely agree! I highly recommend to use Tinker's for all of your events where cake is involved!

Tinker's is the BEST cake shop in Lexington! Cameron is wonderful to work with and I could not be happier with the cake we received for our friends' wedding yesterday. From the start with the beautiful cake tasting, we were incredibly impressed with Cameron's professionalism and the options presented. He was very helpful with styrofoam cake shapes and sizes to demonstrate what the tier options are and what the finished cake size would be. He has lots of cake examples around the shop for inspiration and plenty of photos to look at. He also has several gorgeous cake stands available and bonus - a stand is included in the cake price! The tasting showcased lots of options and they were all delicious! We had the best time!Skip forward a few months and now it's the wedding day. Cameron showed up exactly on time, with the cake exactly as ordered. Such a relief to work with a true professional for such an important event! The floral designer left flowers for him to put on the cake and Cameron did a fantastic job - the finished product was gorgeous. But here is the best part - the cake was absolutely DELICIOUS! I LOVE cake and this was actually one of the best cakes I have ever had (and definitely the best wedding cake ever). The piece I had was tiramisu and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different and more sophisticated for their cake. And the frosting was incredible - it was light and airy and not too sweet. The entire thing was perfection. On top of all of that, the price was very reasonable. We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Tinker's and highly recommend them. I can't wait to have another opportunity to order a cake from them!

Best cake shop in the universe in my opinion! Lucky for us it's right here in our home town :) We have ordered cakes for several occassions over the last few years. The designs are truly remarkable (timeless /creative) and they taste so good that I sometimes get sudden cravings out of the blue and try to make up occassions with my wife for needing a cake. As if that's not enough, everyone who we deal with in the shop has been top notch (very friendly and courteous)!

They did an unbelievably good job. The cake looked great, tasted even better. The company was very helpful with design input. Delivery was done on time without issue. And this was all done last minute and they were able to accommodate us and do a fantastic job. We got a vanilla and lemon cake. Both were great!!!

Post-wedding update:I absolutely recommend Tinker's for your wedding cake or other cake needs! Not only was our cake promptly delivered and absolutely perfect, but it was the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had. Moist and delicious, and many flavors offered! I received so much positive feedback about our wedding cake and also our groom's cake (which Cameron fashioned with my husband's two favorite mascots on top fighting a plethora of zombies which were falling off the sides of the cake).In addition, Cameron was great to work with-he called to confirm details a week out, was highly organized, and sent us a coupon for a free anniversary cake a year from now!

Cameron was impressive from the bridal show to the tasting to the final product. The cake was delivered on time and Cameron even went out of his way to assist when a table was not ready for the cake upon its arrival. We ordered enough cake for double the amount of people attending and less than ten servings of the cake were left at the end of the night it was so delicious! The cake was delicious, moist, & gorgeous. Cameron is the consummate professional. HIGHLY recommend this vendor for ALL your cake needs in Lexington!!

Absolutely beautiful wedding cake for my daughter and there were only a few pieces left!! Outstanding - highly recommend!

The best tasting is wedding cake ever! From the tasting, to the delivery, decorating and overall look, I loved our cake! We got the pistachio flavor and I have yet to find another pistachio flavored cake that tastes as good as this one. I recommend Tinker to everyone I know!

I saw TINKER'S CAKE SHOP on an episode of CAKE WARS lastnight, one of my favorite shows. Being a small town girl from Kentucky I have made quite a few Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes and Baby shower Cakes for a couple of years now for family and friends , so I do understand all the hard work that goes into them. I remember feeling so proud watching Cameron and his wife for not only the thought process in how they designed their Dr. Seuss Character on the show, but also their skill set in the time frame that they had to finish their Cake in. I thought your huge HORTON with The CAT in the HAT on top really stold the show. I am proud of TINKER 'S CAKE SHOP!!! You represented Kentucky Proudly!
