Ok, my brother mostly and sister have been telling me about Tim's Awesome BBQ for a while well today I got a chance to indulge in the St. Louis bbq ribs they're delicious with just enough sauce to make you want to lick your fingers. I had three sides the mac and cheese it was also delicious. The smoke corn was so sweet it just makes you smile. The vinegar cold slaw was also just right With Friendly service it's hard not to stay awhile and just chat. So I'll go with 5 stars. I alway grew up on BBQ out of Evansville but they've long gone out of business, this is more than a match with any bbq I've had around this Nation.

I cam here with some friends from work. Drove up to find a converted gas station to restaurant set up... I knew I'd be in for a treat.I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I was with a group (two of them from Alabama) and some of them didn't care for the BBQ, even going so far to say it was the worst they'd had.I, myself, found it quite tasty and , like most other reviews, the sides were great! My biggest complaints... no liquor license, so no beer and expensive drinks.

From IL ........I experienced Tim's Awesome Bbq yesterday at Lyles Historic School Museum. Luncheon was catered. Everything I tasted was simply delicious. From the pulled chicken, sweet potato casserole to the cole slaw. Macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and sweet potatoes were absolutely my favorite. Not to mentioned the apple pie. Good down home cooking that I am still in awe about. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant. Btw the sweet tea was perfect!Thank you!!

I've only visited once but I plan to go back to sample some more of the menu. Any place that is in a renovated gas station automatically gets a favorable review from me and the BIG menu here has lots of good stuff to try. My pulled pork sandwich was good and my buddy's ribs were too. Good sides too. There is another place in town (Skyler's or something like that) that I didn't try but all the awards on Tim's wall tells me that they are the best place in town.If I go back and have another good meal, I'll bump them up to 5 stars!

I read the reviews and on a recent business trip decided to visit Tim's! It was okay, definitely not the best BBQ ever. I ordered pull pork, corn and green beans. The sides were delicious - green beans well seasoned. But it was just okay. Nothing to right home about. Plus, there were upcharges for extra sauce, water, etc. They did have a vast menu, but I probably will not visit the next time I'm in town! The staff was friendly, and the service was nice.

Happen to be in town and stopped by. Smelled the aroma coming from Tim's and had to step inside to check out the prices. The prices seemed right and decided to give it a try. The smell was too amazing to pass up. I just ordered something small, a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Big mistake! I ordered to go and ate it as I left. I should have ordered more! It was like the sign said, AMAZING! I will definitely be going back when I'm in town again!

Always good food at Tim's. Pulled pork and brisket are great. Many good options for side dishes: two types of potato salad, two types of Cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes....They also do a great job of catering.

Amazing food, brisket, beans, and apple pie were top shelf. Price was reasonable and the service was quick. I'll be back to try the ribs next.

Food was great. Home made pie was the best. We had rib ends, brisket, pulled pork, big spud, sweet potato casserole, dixie slaw and coconut cream pie.
