Three Brothers Restaurant

After passing Three Brothers Restaurant almost everyday, my husband and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all!I got the philly cheese steak sandwich and fries. My husband got the catfish sandwich and fries and Lady J's lemonade. We could barely finish our meals because there was so much food. All the food is cooked to order and well worth the 10-12 minute wait.We are planning on making this a weekly stop for us.

I went on Thursday. It was about a 30 minutes wait and I took mine to go. For 30 minutes, I thought my fried fish would be hot and fresh. Instead, the batter was crunchy (like I was eating kettle chips) and the fish had a tan-grey color that was slightly translucent, instead of white. I don't know if that fish had been sitting out and they refried it so that it seemed like it was freshly made, but it was not. It the fish meat did not taste good, but the batter did, although it was more like a single shell encasing the fish meat. I guess that worked in my favor, since it made it easy for me to take the crunchy (not crispy) batter off of the fish and it by itself. I will say though, the fish pieces were huge. The fries were okay, but the hush puppies were delicious! They were hard or dry, but soft and chewy (chewy in a good way).

Lunch from Three Brothers. I swear you can consume the smells.... the aroma is so dang good!!! The only reason I'm not giving 4 stars is because while they may do fish well, the Burger had so much more potential! Yes, I know this is a mainly a fish place but the few steps to elevate the Burger aren't much... so why not do that for all the food?Not pictured, Catfish bites.. my coworker loveess them so much so I want able to even get a pic! Ordered thru Door Dash fir lunch delivery to downtown. 1st time trying this place.Jumbo shrimp with fries and fried cauliflower. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The 6 shrimp were hand breaded and were quite large. I ate those 1st and then didn't have enough room to finish up the fries and cauliflower. There is some sort of seasoned salt sprinkled on the food that gave it a extra special touch.The order was correct including the special instructions of wanting lemon on the side.This first try will not be the last.

Good was just not good. The fries is the only thing that was decent. I had catfish sandwich with fries. The place was busy , so I guess the place just wasn't for me.

Not sure why the reviews for this place are highly rated, i guess the food may have been good in the past but the two times I've went here this year everything was overcooked and freezer burnt, the fish was almost inedible and the chicken was slimy. Staff was great but I ended up throwing away the majority of my meal both times, will not be back.

They don't have a zero star rating so I had to give them a one star. Stopped by the 7th and Algonquin location on a Friday evening and ordered the white fish dinner for two and a catfish dinner. The catfish was tolerable but the white fish was awful. The fish was heavily breaded with overly salted mixture and was so overdone that the fish was translucent instead of white. The fries were also over cooked to the point of being crunchy. This was our first stop there and it is surely our last. Save your money and get your white fish in a Gorton's bag in the freezer section at Krogers.

As you can see, I already took a bite I also got the 3 Brothers burger, but ate that before I got a pic lol.The fish is so well seasoned and cooked PERFECTLY. And I don't know if you can tell by the pic, but you get VERY good portions. I def will be putting this on my list of my regularsAnd even though I didn't get a pic of the burger, it was tasty as well!!
