The Tailgate

Rad spot! My friends took me here for a night out, and I loved the beer and drinks. The food is straightforward but tasty. The only downside is a bit of a wait on busy nights, but that's expected. Don't miss karaoke and bingo nights.

Went on a Sunday afternoon around 11. It was empty except for a few regulars at the bar. Shared the combo basket with my family and it was pretty good, the pretzel stix were the best out of the four. I had the sloppy joe and onion rings which were pretty good. My family had a tenderloin, grilled cheese and hot dog which they liked as well.The service was good but the cook was late so we had to wait about 20 minutes to see if he was going to show up so we could order.

Karaoke is a lot of fun on Fridays & Saturdays! KJ Tammy is awesome! Their fried pickles are SO good and Kim (the bartender) is wonderful! Love this place!

I'm an experienced foodie. I stopped here by accident and LOVED IT! The food taste fresh and so much flavor. Homemade no kidding. They even have Kabobs!Cool place. Try it!

I dropped by The Tailgate last Friday night, looking forward to "making a night out of it" watching the Notre Dame, IU games and enjoying the Karaoke.I have visited The Tailgate on several previous occasions, enjoying the quality food, drink specials and overall atmosphere.But last Friday night was not one of those times.The wait staff was apparently overwhelmed by the size or number of customers as it took 20 minutes to request the two items (onions and cheese) that were left off the Traditional Tailgator burger that was ordered. And another 25 minutes to ( for the second time) get the correct slice of cheese.At this point, the burger and fries were cold, the bun was stale.I left the food uneaten.I requested and paid the check, essentially paying $10 for a diet coke with a refill.Extremely disappointed.Took the rest of my night's business to BW3's.I believe there were three possible resolutions that were available to the wait staff, the worst of which (from a customer's viewpoint) was taken.I'm not inclined to reward sub par service or quality.Just thought you might wanna know.

My husband and I used a Groupon. We wanted to try something on our side of town. We were pleasantly surprised because Wednesday's they have DJ Bingo and $2 well drinks. Double thumbs up! Unfortunately, we walked in and immediately noticed the air conditioning wasn't working properly. They had ceiling fans and other fans, but that's not AC. We ordered a few mix drinks while playing bingo which was good. My husband ordered a burger & fries which he enjoyed. I ordered a breaded chicken sandwich with fries which was average. Summary-Great happy hour drink specials, fun DJ Bingo, subpar food, and no AC.

Best Stuffed burger in Indianapolis by FAR!!! Char-grilled EVERY TIME! All food made to order; and the meat is not dry, and it's great quality. You owe it to yourself to try the food here. I order mine to go all the time. Id show you pictures but I eat it way too fast! lol

so ok i came here and they took forever to order and make our food but it was good and service was amazing, nice waitress only thing is the food service could be faster. we got our drinks promptly but our food took more than an hour

I'm still getting me sea legs back from the best steak I've ever had in my life. Perfect. AMAZING! Along with the great staff and atmosphere.. I'm in heaven Do yourself a favor and come to this incredible place!
