I'm 49 years old and 260 pounds, so believe me when I comment on food.Best grilled cheese of my life! Bacon jam is a winner! Great stop for lunch, will recommend this to anyone in the area. And a fantastic bourbon selection as well!

A little bit out there/a drive (but I feel this may add a tad to the ambiance), this is a fantastic spot for some solid comfort style food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food all tasted great. Portions were also quite filling, leaving our group with not enough room for dessert so we will be going back for that as the bread pudding sounded incredible, we were just too stuffed. Along with their food, their drinks were not only vast but also incredibly well crafted. The interior was nice and cozy, yet had plenty of seating both inside and on the patio. The setup created a bit of a homey and comfortable feel, creating a great casual spot for groups. Pricing was also quite fair. Would definitely recommend and will likely return.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Great bourbon selection and the food is top notch. Only thing that keeps it from 5 stars was the really slow and indifferent service. I don't mind waiting on good food, but we were sat and then left alone for over 10 minutes without even a greeting. Eventually our server took drink orders and then another lengthy disappearing act. There's only a few tables in the restaurant and while there were several servers there, our server still couldn't be bothered to check in or offer refills.

I'd give more stars, but them's the rules...best shrimp and grits ever, and I mean ever!!! My pimiento grilled cheese with bacon jam was innovative and crazy good...and there was a roasted chicken with butternut squash risotto, OMG!!! The wait staff were down to earth and good at their craft...what good people, and the young guys in the kitchen absolutely professional and talented...can't wait to go back, what a great experience!

Variety of menu items and an abundance of adult beverages- unique, casual and excellent! Service was attentive and accommodating and all of the items we tried were excellent. Worth the excursion!

Bologna and hot honey sandwich were amazing! Fries well done with extra seasonings! Make sure you have reservations!

What a neat place. A large selection of bourbons and a wonderful staff. Got the fried chicken sandwich. It was delicious. Got the sampler appetizer- need to get to try a good selection of the menu. the smoked bologna was delicious, pulled pork amazing, I don't care for pimento cheese but that was even good. Little out of the way but was worth the drive.

Great atmosphere, but limited seating if the weather is cruddy, so get there early. Food was great and the drink selection was incredible. Try a bourbon flight! I had the fried chicken sandwich with honey and it was excellent. Pimento cheese on the side since they put a lot on the sandwich.

This looks like a little hole in the wall, but it provides great drinks, delicious snacks and a wonderful atmosphere. We tried there style charcuterie board, which includes fried bologna. The pieces are thick and delicious. The cornbread, although quite traditional was very dry. We finished off with the bread pudding, which was by far the highlight of the visit. our server was very kind and knowledgeable and kept up with our tables needs.

If I could give this place a 10/5, I would!! Some of the best food i've ever had. After a morning of bourbon tastings, sitting down at Stave was so relaxing and kept the vibes high. The service was fantastic and we had a big group which they accommodated fantastically. I wish I had this places closer to home because I would come all the time!!
