Great little locally owned place on Lake Cumberland. Lots of easy parking and very fun staff and good food. I had the cheese burger lunch special a great simple burger, traditionally dressed served with yummy hot crinkle fries!If you are in the area this is worth a stop.Right down the road is Mill Springs National Cemetery, if you have a spare minute pop in and pay your respects to those who served our county.

What an absolute gem. Ticks all of the boxes from the service to the food. Super chill vibe and great people here. My mom and I tried a bunch of stuff. Everything was solid. Some things were outstanding. The pimiento cheese is crazy good, especially with the buttered Texas toast. I really liked the mixed greens also. I just tossed in some black pepper and they were perfect. They definitely weren't sitting around all day which is nice. My mom got the Manhattan ( open faced sandwich ) type of thing. That was super good. The PIES are crazy good! I really want to express how nice the staff/owners were though. Great service and getting names with smiles is the type of thing I truly appreciate. It's very rare nowadays. Rick and David were awesome. P.S. don't forget to get a bottle of Jeff's bbq sauce by the register. It's legit.

This place is a welcome edition to the small community of Nancy, Kentucky. The menu is well laid out, and the selection of the items is amazing. The decor of the place is first rate and one of the absolutely the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. The hours will be Tues-Fri from 11am til 8pm and Saturday from 7am to 8pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Located next to the Dollar Store at 9520 W Hwy 80 in NANCY, KENTUCKY. They will not be accepting call in/phone orders until Tuesday, February 20 2024. The service is first rate despite being a brand new restaurant. Our waiter, Mason was very attentive and efficient. They have set the bar high for the quality of food and service, hope that they will be able to continue. My wife had the Meatloaf and I had the Philly Cheese Steak. This is an amazing concept that I hope will do well, the place features a lot of local history, includes wood from Nancy High School as well as a table that former KY Gov. A.B. Happy Chandler had eaten at that was obtain by the owner. For Ice cream lovers the Hot Apple Crunch with ice cream is a must try. They also feature a several pie options as well as a Monster Chocolate Chip Cookie. A truly unique dinning experience.

Our waitress was Ruby, I think. She was very nice and friendly. The food was excellent. We had the catfish.

we moved to ky last March and have just started going out on sat nights to a different place to learn about the area. The atmosphere was cafe style withh 2 large rooms with tables. Not much decor. We were seated quickly and the waitress got to us within a couple minutes. It was about 40% capacity. The menu was a bit limited but with a decent variety. I had catfish and the wife had chicken and dumplings. The main entrees were very good but the side dishes were lacking. My fries tasted fine but were of a low scale as they were different sizes in lenghts and had several black tips. Final thought would be give it a chance but do not expect above average. The prices were fair!

The steak sandwich, which used to be 1 of the best things offered, was difficult to bite through. It could've just been a tough steak, but the bun was something that really couldn't be bit through. I even had to ask for a steak knife to cut through the sandwich. When I told the owner this, he responded that bread was brought in fresh this morning & no one had said anything. Unfortunately the staff had already forewarned me that multiple people had complained about the buns just that day. Word to the wise & especially the owner, DO NOT LIE TO PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!!!

Initially the service was good. However after ordering Chicken and Dumplings with side of green beans, macaroni n cheese. The nothing had any flavor, all dumplings with hardly any chicken, and macaroni was just in bowl with cheese sauce poured on them. My husband ordered fried catfish, fried potatoes, and macaroni tomatoes. The catfish was the only edible thing. The potatoes were limp like they had been cooked that morning or previous day. My wife sent her food back and got the catfish. I assume it was the owner that came out and stated is the "big enough for you" and walked off. Never apologized about the poor quality or did not offer to compensate meal.

Had the chicken livers, mashed potatoes, cooked apples and corn. What a great meal. I will never come back to Somerset again without eating here. What a great family restaurant. Justin was our server. He did an incredible job. So nice, congenial and friendly.

Great food, great portions! Great service! We always have a good experience here. Catfish dinner has 3 big filets. Hush puppies are just ok but everything else is great.
