The Red Peppermint

Ambiance of this place was great. it was a hot day, and they had indoor tables, and cool air. the customer service was honestly not the best. the girl working gave me the cold shoulder after being friendly with the staff. Honestly the worker had no change and almost was out of over half the ice-cream. i would still give them another try but more icecream options would be awesome. i ended up getting a double scoop of chocolate.

After a day of hiking at Clifty Falls, I stopped into The Red Peppermint while strolling through Madison. During COVID-19, the storefront limited 5 people in the store at a time. The wait was very short. We grabbed cups to get some frozen yogurt. We filled our cups with all different flavors and toppings. The salted caramel and cheesecake flavors were my favorite. The price did seem a little steep. We definitely went heavy on the fro-yo, but even so, each came out to about ~$9, this felt very high.Regardless, the fro-yo was great. It was also a great area to walk with your ice cream and people watch. Madison is a really awesome town to explore if you've never been. I would definitely consider coming back the next time I find myself in Madison!

Great little find. Went in looking for Smoothies because yelp showed they had them. That is NOT correct. No smoothies. The froyo was great. About 6-9 flavors. Also sell ice cream. Fro-Yo one price pays no price per ounce like other places. $2.99 small $4.99 medium and $6.99 large. Add topping for $1.00. Family of six came out for less then $30. Would definitely recommend.

Great coffee and great prices. The staff is nice, establishment is cute and service is fast. How much more can I say?? We had coffee, they put it in a to go cup because we ordered it to go. If you are sleepy come on in and get some eye opener people!!! Screw Starbucks and shop local for cryin' our loud!

A MUST visit if you visit Madison!!! the owner is very friendly and takes pride in his business, and truly cares for his customers. The whole staff is very friendly even the teenagers. Thank you for the AWESOME ICE CREAM!!!

Very good creamy fresh homemade icecream, strawberry was amazing!!! Best icecream served up in a fresh waffle cone.

This place was out of a Norman Rockwell scene. How delicious!! The owners were so friendly

WAY OVERPRICED! I paid almost $22 for 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup and a small cup of yogurt with no toppings. Was also told the bill was way less and then when I look at my checking account the charge is for $21.87. Criminal!

the ice cream is so good there nice to the customers and is good for a summer day and you should deff go and try it!!! And the inside is so cool and good colored

Thought it was a cute new place to try, but having been my first their system is very odd and just left you figuring things out. The girls working we're kinda useless, polite but that's about it. Flavor options were few and not good. And overpriced for the quality of what you are getting.
