When I first moved to Louisville, I asked one of my wife's friends what their favorite pizza places are. After rattling off a few, they said "oh there's this place off Goss called the Post. You gotta check that out." It took a few years, but I finally did once we moved to Germantown. I've gotten slices, personal pizzas, and even split a few Gluten Free pizzas --- all have been excellent. The Post is a destination. It's a draw for people from all over Louisville, and is consistently pretty busy inside. While a lot of people do order takeout, the building itself is a unique experience. This pizza spot is in a former VFW Hall, and there are signs and pictures all around dedicated to its history. Every pizza I've had has been delicious --- Allies, New Colussus, Italian Campaign, and your basic cheese. I've also had a few awesome slices of the day, which are very filling. There's a good beer and drink selection and the prices are not bad. There are also TV's all around, so if you want to watch some football or basketball, this is a good spot to settle in. This place lives up to the hype in my opinion. Just keep in mind, when you walk inside, the building looks cramped and full at first. Don't let that intimidate you. You can usually find a spot if you look down in the bar area, or in the back. And if you can't, a spot will open up shortly because service does move pretty quickly. It's worth the wait.

We had time to kill before our underground zip line experience, and I was craving pizza so we ended up here. The area itself is kind of neat with a lot of homes converted to restaurants. The spot seemed pretty low-key and had a cute patio. As a tourist passing through, this was very appealing! We ordered the Meatball Sub, the New Dill 12 inch pizza, and a Prairie Tiny Esses Sour. My partner devoured the meatball sub, and I loved the unique flavor of my pizza! They had a fun and wide variety of beer on their draft list! I tried a sour and it was like nothing I've experienced before. I love places where I can try brews outside of the normal tap list! We ended up street parking and walking a few blocks. Service was friendly and attentive.

The Post has easily become our favorite neighborhood pizza spot. About 75% of the time, we order takeout directly from their website, and they've nailed the process. The staff are quick to recognize us when we pull up to the designated spot, always greeting us and checking on our order. The takeout is consistently hot and delicious. We never miss out on ordering a pizza and their incredible cheese bread. The thin crust is truly *chef's kiss*--crispy, light, and flavorful. Occasionally, we'll order just the cheese bread to pair with homemade pasta at home; it's that good! I'm not a fan of blue cheese dressing, but our friends are obsessed. Every time we dine in with them, they rave about it.The restaurant itself is always spotless, and the staff are eager to assist. They also have a nice outdoor patio, which adds to the charm when dining in. Overall, The Post is a gem for both takeout and dining in!

What a great place! Their pizza slices are HUGE and only $5! They always have cheese and pepperoni options and then there's a slice of the day. The photo is tomato & spinach. They have a great selection of beer on tap.

Louisville is home to great places. The Post has amazing food. You can pizza by the slice which makes me happy. A good bar type menu and some healthy stuff to go along. It's a fun and open atmosphere. Great for people watching. The prices are not bad. We had great service which made it so much more enjoyable. You can literally spend hours there.

Great New York style crust! Crispy and then chewy. We got a half Mediterranean half White Flag. Service was nice and quick and prices were fair. Make sure you plan some time for parking because there isn't much on the property but we didn't have much trouble finding street parking. We will be back if we are ever headed through Louisville in the future! Just the kind of humble pizza joint we were looking for!

100% yes to this pizza! Traditional NY Style pizza perfectly executed. Massive, garlicky, and an incredible flavor blend, The Post is a family friend bar & pizza restaurant with a casual vibe. Service was friendly- & the value was there even though it's a bit pricey. I'm visiting from Indy and I will happily make the trip down to The Post in Louisville for a big slice of pizza
