The Kitchen Table

Been here three or four times and it's always great. Staff is friendly and prompt, helpful with the menu when we need it. The pulled pork empanadas are great and the sauce that comes with it levels it up. The pepperoni pizza with the hot honey is a favorite of mine, but I've had a few of the other means and they're all fantastic. Absolutely love the vibe inside and out!

Pros: loved that this was located on the massive Jim Bean distillery property. Nicely designed, and the servers were wonderful. Of course I was enamoured by the different bourbon recipes I watched the bartenders make, and as you guessed it, they perfected a well made old fashioned there. The service was top notch and plated wonderfullyCons: Although the food was presented beautifully and cooked well, it sorta lacked flavor, which was a little disappointing. Also the portions were small considering the price of the food, but I get that this is the price of becoming a popular eating spot. Overall it's really nice with beautiful views, worth the visit!

Fantastic experience... Great ambience, and perfect location... albeit off the beaten path, if you go plan it around a visit to the distillery, but don't miss out on the amazing food and service of this delicious opportunity!!! The catfish was cooked perfectly, and the collard greens were stuffed with rice with a tomato sauce that somehow worked with the dish... the homemade pork rinds were fine, but the smoked wings were amazing and washing it down with an old-fashioned made by the professionals who invented bourbon as we know it cannot be beat!!! Don't miss out, it's worth the drive...

Food, drinks, atmosphere and service are always top notch! Our server Jennifer was friendly and attentive, welcoming us like family.

Very nice restaurant at the James Bean distillery. Drinks were excellent and the food was good as well. Half rib portion was very good. Our server Haley was very professional and did. A good job.

Passing through on business with a group of engineers and the sales guy recommended The Kitchen Table. Don't know it was at the Jim Beam Distillery and forgot that Jim Beam is very popular in Japan in High Balls. The place was a hit. The smell of smoked meat cooking as we ate outside on the patio was tantalizing. The service was beyond top notch. All the food was delicious and the Old Fashioned was delicious. The sweet hot mustard with the sausage appetizer was so good we used on other things. The Duck poppers also had a sauce on them that was amazing. The brisket was so tender I didn't have to use a knife. Beautiful place with over the top service and great food. Awesome combination. I am sure the team will be talking about it when they get back to Japan.

This restaurant was located right by the American Outpost building. If you have the chance to take a tour at the James B. Beam Distilling Co., this would be an excellent stop to squash your belly down with some food and maybe even some more bourbon. I came here with my parents, my significant other, and my dog.I ordered a Diet Coke and a Jim Beam Highball. The Diet Coke was good. The Highball had Jim Beam Bourbon, Soda Water, and Citrus in it. It was a crisp and refreshing drink. I think it blended well.For food, my significant other and I shared The Kitchen Table Burger and the Pepperoni Pizza. The Kitchen Table Burger came with white cheddar, hickory sauce, garlic aioli, fries. The Pepperoni Pizza had mozzarella, calabrian chilis, hot honey.The Burger was a smash burger and dang, it was awesome! The fries came in a cool metal container alongside the Burger and I was even given ketchup on the side. They were good! The Pizza seemed so unique, yet so tasty! The spice was present the whole time. I loved it. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't please every mouth, especially since it kicked mine around a bit. That made it more original in my opinion, though.Our server was fantastic. She brought everything we needed in a timely manner. I sure was impressed.Overall, I feel this restaurant is a must if you had the pleasure of doing the tour beforehand. Even if you're not going to do the tour, I'd still say you should try this joint out if you can. My parents joined us and they didn't participate in the tour. I don't have a single complaint about this place. If I'm in Kentucky soon, I'll probably crave it!Date of visit: 2/3/23

Let's get the bad out of the way so we end on a happy note. Seated immediately. Waited 10-15 minutes and no one came to the table. Two different staff walked by three times. I finally got up and asked if a server could be sent to our table. Ok now on to the good part. The food was very good. Who would have thought to put pulled pork on hummus? This place did!! The Burgoo was so so. The brussel sprouts and duck poppers were amazing. Great view of the Jim Beam property. Light and airy inside and the bar was beautiful.

This restaurant is on the campus of the Jim Beam Distillery and makes a perfect end cap to the tour. The campus is beautiful and The Kitchen Table is just as stunning. You are surrounded by windows with a dramatic overlook, and all of the seating surrounds a massive bar with an extensive cocktail menu. We were seated right away for lunch and our service was excellent. Everything came out quickly and we had no complaints. I was okay with paying up for the experience - it's a tourist destination, after all. But once you see the quality of the food, you should have no issues justifying the price whatsoever. Everything we had was delicious, well plated, and well curated. The portions are generous, with plenty to take home. And we had the best time enjoying the view and drinking cocktails after our meal.

I wanted southern cooking and the smoked brisket Ruth grits and corn relish was unbelievably delicious!! Oh my gosh, never had this meal and I could definitely eat this again. My friend had pork sliders and really wanted my meal! Good service as we sat at the bar. This place was humming with in and outdoor seating for meal service. Amazing and everyone seemed comfortable. We did not have reservations on this Sunday so that's why we were at the bar. No worrie, it worked fine!
