The Jeffersonian

Although I live less than a mile from The Jeffersonian I've only ever been there for voting. For that function I rate The Jeffersonian a 5.Voting here is organized and very accessible. The parking lot is easy to access right off of Taylorsville road and there is plenty of parking in two large, separate parking areas.The voting is very streamlined and easy to do. You walk in, present your ID, they give you a ballot, fill it out, drop it off, get a sticker (or wrist band) and you're on your way. It's never taken me longer than 20 minute to vote in any election.My recommendation would be to vote early (if you can), and if you're voting on Election day, go as early in the day as you can. It can get very busy the later in the day.High Marks for voting at The Jeffersonian!

We went to the Jeffersonian specially to see 'A Soldier's Tale' and it was great. The spread they put out for everyone was really good, lots of delicious nibbles.Plenty of parking large room to accommodate large gatherings. If there was any complaint it was the chairs. Sitting in them for a couple of hours was gruesome. But I understand it's not a concert hall it's a banquet hall.

I visited this venue for a family wedding and was impressed by the size of the space. Over 30 round tables seating 10 people each were placed throughout the building, with a large dance floor in the middle. The room also held a wedding party table for almost 25 people, 2 bar areas, appetizer tables, buffet line, candy bar and photo booth. Even with all of these areas and guests, we had plenty of space between tables. If you're hosting a large event, this venue is definitely a place to consider. It's ample parking, lobby and event space gives you the opportunity to design it as needed. Bringing in the caterer of your choice is another plus.

People, food great, with decor a bit dated but great for the Williamsburg area. Cleanliness is always a virtue and they had cloth napkins!Great family owned restaurant! . Nice to support the small businesses.

The J-town Center was recently renovated and now is a beautiful and wonderful place to have a wedding. The city of J-town and Debbie are great people to work with when planning an event. We just had our daughter's wedding there and was overwhelmed by the facilities. It is quite spectacular and the kitchen areas is amazing for catering. We had a wonderful wedding there. The only downfall was the poor lighting in the back where you take out the trash and the pot holes we faced in getting there after the clean up. I hope they work on fixing this soon.
