While drinks at the Palm Court Bar, we ordered sandwiches from the bar menu. My Chicken Breast Club and my GF's Rueben were both excellent. Quite filling and flavorful.

Pancakes and coffee for breakfast. Simple, yet a delicious choice. Staying at the Hilton CincinnatiNetherland Plaza and this restaurant is located in the lobby so was really convenient to run downstairs to grab a bite before heading out.We were greeted when we walked up and promptly seated. Limited menu but has everything need and all the breakfast favorites. Great service and you can't go wrong with the pancakes! Totally recommend. Make sure to get extra syrup. You can even grab a cup of coffee to go when you are done with breakfast.

I enjoyed having breakfast here. It's nicely decorated, elegant, and the staff is kind and courteous. Also convenient if you're staying the hotel, obviously. I got the breakfast buffet option and was pleased with the majority of the options I chose. Would eat here again if I stayed at The Netherlands Plaza!

Gorgeous decor, but I was blown away by our servers kindness. Wow just attentive and sweet. Thank you. The food was yummy and so were the mimosas.

This place is some great food with a casual atmosphere in an über classy venue. It uses the side of the famed Orchid's Palm Court restaurant in the Netherland Hotel, which seems to be 'sleeping' while the morning guests come down for breakfast. You are ushered over past the brilliant Art Deco statues, bronze friezes and bar, and over to a place where everyone is as tired and hung over as you are (or just waking up for work to greet the day, to be fair). Overall I loved the food here. I had an excellent omelet, and since I am gluten-free, I was offered a side of fruit. Now, Palm Court is not the sort of place that just casually scoops a bowl of fruit out of a dish and slops it on the table - instead, it seemed like every single beautiful berry was hand placed to perfection. Now that is some service that matches the name and location! What is most surprising is the price. For such top notch quality, I would have expected to pay much, much more. Maybe they make enough money off of room service for the 561 room Netherland Hotel, but I found breakfast to be such a great value. I would even argue that this is a really unknown location that is suitable for business breakfasts (if that is a thing) or just bringing anyone that you might want to impress downtown. No hotel stay required! This is really in line with the price and quality of the hotel (which I still think is an under appreciated hotel in Cincinnati) and the Orchids Bar (which has amazing prices and an ultra-classy feel). This tops off the Hilton Netherland to be my single favorite location in all of Downtown Cincinnati.

Never again! I used to dine here for lunch fairly often a few years ago. Hadn't been back in awhile and was embarrassed that I dragged a co-worker there for way over priced and very uninspired food. Gnocchi was clearly just some store bought pasta. Not fluffy and luxurious but gummy and tough($14). My friend's Croque Monsieur($14) was sad and any Pannera could have done a better job. I would have gotten the burger but it was $17 (last time i was there I think it was $13)Really a shame that such a beautiful place serves such bad food at shocking prices. Makes me think twice about going back to Palm Court if its managed by same folks.

This is a great and affordable lunch option for Cincy workers and visitors. Cincinnati is a great place to have lunch because there are a ton of places to go to on weekdays for lunch that fit the pocketbooks of many who work and visit Cincy. That is something that I love about Cincy, and definitely applies to the Grille at Palm Court (located inside the art-deco masterpiece Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel). The Palm Court is kind of pricey for dinner, but for lunch it's pretty cheap. I didn't actually do the buffet lunch option as most people who come here do. Instead, I did ordered a la carte. Since I knew that Palm Court is quite pricey for dinner, I expected expensive prices for a la carte items, but it wasn't expensive at all. My friend and I ordered the corn soup, trout salad, crab cake. We both weren't very hungry so the amount of food was sufficient for the both of us. Both entrees were tasty and presentation was artistic and visually appealing. The corn soup was creamy and tasty; however, the corn kernels were a bit hard and chewy. I'm not sure if the corn kernels were fresh or not, but they tasted like dried corn kernels that were thrown into the soup. The corn kernels were sweet and added an interesting texture to the soup, but I would have liked fresh, soft kernels straight from the corncob. Service here was very friendly and attentive. The waiter we had came by plenty to ask how the food was, and if we needed anything else. Definitely great customer service here. Overall this place gets a solid four stars. The food here is fresh, tasty, and presented well. The service is top notch. And most of all, art deco is all around you! For all those eye wanderers, you will be visually pleased as every corner of the Palm Court is art deco. Coming here for lunch, you get a three-for-one experience -- gustatory, visual, and olfactory -- at a very affordable price.

This place is a great value for a very nice lunch. It is a great way to enjoy the beautiful art deco dining room without breatking the bank. Several menu items are available, but our favorite thing to to is hit the pasta bar. For $9.99 you can have all you can eat pasta made to order with a large array of ingredients. For 12.99 you get a salad and fruit bar along with it. I was SO full after the pasta. Stop by some day for a special treat. It is worth it.

This restaurant used to be impeccable however, it is certainly not what it once was. We had reservations Saturday evening at 8:00 and could not get service. After being seated, we waited almost half an hour to be acknowledged and to order our bar drinks. Another half hour had passed and we still did not have our drinks with again no acknowledgement of where or why we still did not have our drinks. We had no choice but to leave and try another restaurant. It's a shame as this restaurant is beautiful and the music is fantastic but the service is about the worst I have seen these days.

This brunch was disappointing and for the $40+ price tag, not worth it. I would not recommend it and will not be back. A $40 buffet breakfast - it was small, no omelette station, or option for fresh eggs at all. No fresh breads to choose from, with the exception of some packaged-looking coffee cake and muffins, and dinner roles with the prime rib. There was lox/smoked salmon, and although no cream cheese, there was the herb cheese ball (Alouette I think it is called), but I had to go back to my table to get a knife in order to serve myself because it had no serving utensils on the buffet for that item (or for several others). The table service for the coffee was nice enough, and the coffee was not bad. It was nice to sit at the table for a long time to catch up with our friends. However, the food selection and presentation was definitely not a $40+ per person experience.
