Good food but the hours are just silly. The one in Newburgh has put signs now out at the street "now open". I guess no one knows but with it only being open 4 hours a day Monday through Friday ....Nice work hours if you can get them but you need to be open on weekends as well if you want people to take you seriously as a business. Plus not having the pace air conditioned (they have a small portable unit only) it makes it really hard to dine in

I was on my way somewhere else and happened to see a pastry display out of the corner of my eye as I walked past this Cafe. Next thing you know I'm standing in front of the display calculating how many cookies I could eat before I had to take a nap. Since I had a long drive ahead of me I narrowed it down to one. The Kitchen Sink Cookie. I enjoyed the crunchy outside contrasting with it's soft inside. The numerous additions did not clash with each other as I've experienced with kitchen sink type cookies from some bakers.The staff was excited about this new, second location and marketed their wares well. It is a very large space with lots of tables and lots of room in between. There were several families and small groups so kudos to them for their running start.Big free parking lot in front and throwing distance from Lloyd Expressway make it a convenient stop if this is not your exit.

Food was quite disappointing. Lettuce on salads didn't seem fresh. Caesar salad didn't taste like a Caesar. Balsamic chicken salad was bizarre and hardly edible. Staff were unfriendly. Do better!

I really enjoy The Granola Jar. I usually order what they call a "Three's Company" which comes with three types of cold salads ranging from slaws to pasta salads to chicken salads. I usually get their Italian pasta salad which is made of penne noodles, Italian dressing, a few veggies, and so, their Balsamic Chicken Salad which is awesome, and a serving of Caesar salad. Each salad serving is a nice portion and the Three's Company comes with a wheat or white roll. The Granola Jar has some of the BEST cookies! Tuesday is $1 cookie day btw! The Granola Jar also serves different soups, salads, and sandwiches! Check it out sometime!

I had the threes company, which is a trio of salads and a roll. I picked the broccoli slaw, jalapeño macaroni, and Caesar salad. The broccoli slaw was the best thing I tried. The Caesar salad was soggy and inedible. The jalapeño macaroni was saturated in the dressing. My company felt the same about the quality of the food and restaurant. The cups we had did not fit the lids available. The carpet in the hallway to the bathroom and leading into the restaurant was black and unclean.

.This place has gone down hill. I had a buffalo chicken wrap the had a huge bone in it and the flavor was disgusting. Staff was not friendly at all. Extremely disappointed.

This restaurant was my favorite place for lunch when it was Cafe 111. The new owners have changed a lot of what was good and unique about the restaurant. I'm not sure why they changed anything at all. Under previous ownership the restaurant was busy everyday. Previously, food was served on an actual plate, along with silverware and a real glass. Now, everything is paper and plastic. The quality of the food is no longer the same. It is really disappointing. Even the staff person who took our order was not friendly. Cafe 111 always had a great staff. Sadly, it looks like I will have to find a new favorite place for lunch and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

I regularly order Granola Jar for employee meetings and client lunches. They never disappoint. The no-bake cookies are amazing. Can't go wrong with the chicken salad.
