The European Cafe

Love this spot - makes a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch when it's warm and sunny outside. Service is friendly and food is nothing crazy, but very enjoyable!

I finally made it to The European Cafe in downtown Montgomery (right off of Montgomery Rd. by the Montgomery Inn). Indoor and outdoor seating, 2 large community table sped up seating on a busy Saturday morning (because more than 1 party can be seated at a table- similar to how some restaurants let you eat at the bar for instant service). The menu has lots of great options! I chose the lemonade and the biscuit breakfast sandwich with a side of jam. Everything tasted great, even the melted cheese! Price point was good- under $14 total.

Met an old friend here for breakfast. The place is super cute and was quite busy for a Wednesday at 10 am.For a while there was just one person managing the place, i.e. waiting tables, managing the cash register, etc. By the time we left someone else was helping. We were in no hurry, so we didn't mind the short wait.The coffee was delicious. I drink it black and much too often I find coffee is not the focus of some restaurants. The European Cafe not only serves delicious food, but they also focus on coffee. Even my simple black coffee was great.I ordered the BLT+E, that's bacon, lettuce, tomato and egg on an english muffin. It was quite tasty. The side of goetta was nice sized, but seemed a bit expensive. But hey, I love goetta and wasn't going to miss the opportunity.We didn't know if we should wait for the check. When we were finished and ready to go, we simply walked up to the register and they were ready for us. I am guessing this is the checkout process. The entire experience was good and I'm glad we decided to meet at The European Cafe for our get-together.

Nice small space with great service. Good food. Loved the latte. Give this place and try and you will be going back often.

Quaint, delicious, tasty breakfast and lunch. Delicious espresso options. The loaves of bread looked heavenly. Will definitely try again.

Amazing local spot in Montgomery. The owner was in and was extremely friendly! Service was super quick and the food and coffee were phenomenal. Ordered the breakfast burrito and drip coffee and was really impressed. Definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy cafe with great food and drink options.

Tom and Andrea are very involved and interact well with customers, the menu is eclectic, the pastry selection is wide, and the coffee drinks are fantastic. The staff is friendly and professional, a great neighborhood cafe!

Small plates, but super delicious. Coffee and espresso drinks are always delicious. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to interact with you. It can get busy on the weekend, so try to arrive early, but it's an excellent small cafe vibe on an early morning.
