The Eagle Louisville

It was our first time here and we loved it! Our Server was Mike (with a pony tail) and he was fantastic. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Definitely recommend.

Went here with some friends while in town. Place had the football games on during Saturday night which was nice. Staff was amazingly attentive and super nice. We were in town for my bachelor party so the manager/host threw in a free app for the table which was greatly appreciated.The food was amazing. The chicken was crispy and had just enough zest. The mac and cheese with garlic breadcrumbs was creamy and herby, everything that you'd want! Will definitely be back!

Got take-out from here a while back, and honestly? The south does fried chicken different. Even packaged in a takeout box, the chicken is superior and delicious.We got chicken biscuit sandwiches and sides of hush puppies. That's the best combination you can get for a meal here -- and I still think of this meal a lot nowadays. I hope to come back here to dine in some day!

Still 5 stars Price and quality are unbeatable Must get- fried chicken - spoon bread- grilled cheese- all the drinks Good- Mac and cheese - fries - succotash - cole slaw

Service was fantastic...had reservations so no waiting and was greeted with a smile and welcoming words, dare I say a warm greeting... the ambience is always inviting and homie, love the set up and the lighting is perfect. If you look at the picture, the food taste better than it looks and it looks pretty damn good... What's not pictured is mac & cheese and the best burnt ends you will ever have. We have been several times to both locations and enjoy it every time, hopefully you will get the opportunity to sample what they have to offer in the near future.

Still absolutely amazing! Friend chicken is to die for as well as their pulled pork. The meat is melt in your mouth. The sides are fantastic as well. I highly recommend the collard greens and the mashed potatoes.

We went to The Eagle for my mom's birthday dinner. I arrived 30 minutes earlier and the hostess still seated me. The restaurant is split into two levels the lower floors which is a mixture of tables, high tops and booths, we were put at a table. My server Quintez took my drink orders while I waited for the rest of my party to arrive. Once they arrived I ordered a hand chicken and got the greens and biscuits as my sides. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and didn't need the hot honey butter provided. The biscuits were fluffy, and the greens were almost as good as my mom's (she might read this)! The server was great with answering our questions despite how difficult my family was making it. Everyone finished their food except me. I had to take home my leftovers.

Great food, great place!! Both the waiter and owner were very friendly and courteous!

The chicken and biscuits were delicious. Service was fast. Our server Mike with the ponytail was excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a great lunch at The Eagle on Bardstown Rd. Mike (with the pony tail) could not do enough for us. My chicken sandwich was delicious and my husband's pieces of chicken were so tender and tasty. We can't wait to go back for another meal!
