This place is an eclectic hole in the wall. Do you love a wise variety of beers, a great juke box, different genres of music, delicious burritos the size of your head? Then you will love this place. Be careful the hot sauce on the burritos are seriously hot! They don't mess around. I usually go on Sunday nights fir bluegrass night and it is always packed make sure you get there early to see the comet bluegrass all-stars. Pro-tip always tip the kitchen to get your burrito a little quicker than others. Ps they also have quite the delicious brunch on sat and Sunday's. You should def go check it out!NetFun 5 starsHole in the wallness 5 starsFood 5 starsCleanliness 3.5 starsService 4 starsTotal 5 stars. Get there!

We were looking for some late night vegan eats after the Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings concert. We were craving a Comet burrito and decided to swing on by. We had about 20 mins until the kitchen closed so I grabbed a yummy winter ale and we destroyed those burritos. Also recommend the salsa platter if you want to fill up on chips and try everything from delicious to pretty hot. Always love the vibe of this place. Great Sunday brunch and amazing people. Always a favorite spot especially when there's live music.

We went last night for a comedy show- it was so fun! Loved the charm of a local neighborhood bar, but with surprising good burritos. We had the jerk tofu and it was delicious. Service was good and delivery of food was prompt.

I've lived on the Westside for so many years. I hung out in College Hill in the late 80s. I've been through Northside a million times, yet this was my first visit to The Comet. My son invited me, and he has a real history with The Comet. The food was awesome. The crepe cake was like nothing I've had before. I couldn't figure out what it would taste like by the description, but it was highly recommended by several patrons. It was not overly sweet. The fruit , sauce, and pistachio were perfect compliments, in my opinion. The service was fine. I see other reviews where people are complaining. It is a bar, small staff doing what they do. It's a laid-back vibe. The humans who are doing their best can get overwhelmed. It's not a 5 star James Beard joint. It is a neighborhood bar, serving a good brunch.

Im writing this review because this place is great and I want them to do better.Been going here for almost a decade. In the last two years things have gone downhill (just food) EVERY time I order a burrito here theses days the order is wrong. Missing items such as lettuce, onions, cheese. Even though they were ordered. I come here less and less due to this issue. We keep coming back because we have so much love for such a great part of our community. Something has to change. great service and drink selection and amazing local music to make up for the absurdity that is the kitchen.

Drank some tequila in a tiny glass and smashed on some tacos and nachos as a cool band played thursday night. Ended up kissing this hot vegetarian right outside the venue. Tacos 5/5. The band 5/5. Beer selection 5/5. Nachos 3/5. Veggie friendly 5/5. The vibe 5/5. And a bonus pool table.

A cincinnati icon. This place always has a good brunch with friendly service, some yummy choices including vegetarian options, and lots of great beer to try. It's quite unlike anywhere else. The best jukebox.

What a great, friendly little place. Good food. Friendly staff. Awesome vibe. Professional level burritos seal the deal for me. I always try to check out the funky vintage store next door-perfect 70's pink polyester suit displayed today.

The tacos are an insult to Mexican food. I am not Mexican, but I have loved Mexican food for years and have lived in California and Chicago for several years, two places that have lots of real Mexican food on offer. These are tacos for people who are afraid of going to an actual Mexican restaurant. The bar is fine. The beer selection is good. I've heard good music there (no, I'm not talking about the bluegrass. Usually, when I hear that stuff, I'm worried that someone has a rope and I'm probably nervous for my safety.)It's just that the tacos are so offensively bad. It's even more appalling when there are better ones just up the road.
