The Chamber

Owner is super friendly, service is good and the backside patio is awesome. Food was good the one time I had it. This is a good place to chill, have a few drinks and get some grub.

Recently ate and drank at The Chamber on a visit to Washington. We sat outside on the patio which was open, lively, and perfect for our large group. They seemed to be under staffed and it took some time to get food service but that is a problem in a lot of places these days, and I'm not surprised to see this in a small town. Although the kitchen struggled to keep up, the bar kept our drinks full and dealt well with our loud shenanigans and belly laughs. Even with the wait, the food was delicious. I had the BBQ Nachos but the table had a variety of dinners from BBQ baked potatoes to burgers and fries. The nacho chips were made in house and had a perfect consistency for the soaked in cheese and BBQ sauce. Everyone enjoyed their food and the final bill was affordable.

Met my family for lunch today as Washington is an easy mid-point between Indianapolis and Evansville. BBQ chicken salad was a perfect lunch choice for my mother and me, and her partner enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. The owner, who was waiting tables herself, apologized for the lack of BBQ egg rolls because they'd only gotten their delivery of wrappers that morning so they hadn't had time to make up any - not a problem for us but it was sweet of her to let us know. When my mom asked for coffee after her meal, the owner went next door to the coffee shop to pick up a cup personally - now that's service! We had a lovely time and would gladly come back to enjoy the patio some evening.

Great food, fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the fried pickles and best I've ever had. I had the Chamber burger and it was excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is right on Main Street across from the movie theatre. I was able to park right in front with no problems but later in the evening it may be a little more difficult to park. The inside is small and quaint. There are a few booths and tables and also a small bar space with some stools. There were only 2 couples inside when I got there so socially distancing was easily accomplished. I had called and ordered food to take home for my family and when I walked in they were just finishing up my order. I live maybe 15 minutes away and my food was still smoking hot when I got home. Where do I start with the food?! I ordered a pulled chicken quesadilla and it was very tasty. The sides were nice and crispy and it had a decent amount of smoked chicken inside. I also got an order of the firecracker shrimp tacos. Absolutely delicious! The pulled pork loaded fries were amazing as well however my kids thought the bbq sauce was a little on the spicy side. The bbq salad was yummy and had a massive amount of pulled chicken on it. I also got 12 smoked wings with Asian zing sauce. The wings were smoky and delicious just on their own but the added sauce made them even better. I will definitely be going back for more in the near future!

Quick and friendly service. It has a great atmosphere and offers a new variety of food to the area. Also great for a quick carry out lunch in downtown Washington. The pulled chicken quesadillas are a personal favorite of mine!

Another great find!! Family owned and operated scratch kitchen. Peanut and egg free. Great ambiance, great food and friendly staff. service was spot on! Fun getting to know a little bit about the owner, Liz and her family. We were there for lunch but I think it would be a fun place in the evening. Really enjoyed the patio.
