Fantastic bar! The bartender had some unique drinks. We didn't get to try the restaurant although menu looked good. Rooms were nice.

The sprinkler heads in multiple places in the room and hallways are recessed into a dropped ceiling. Not sure what Kentucky's fire code says but in my home state this would be a code violation. Personally, it's reason enough not to stay here again. Lobby was great, rooms not so much. Staff was not helpful at check in. When we asked about changing the feather pillows for foam they said they would try. When they came to the room they handed me more feather pillows when I asked about that and the 8 pillows in the room he just laughed at me and walked away. My wife contacted them again the next day and they did better and brought four more pillows, foam this time.

At one time, this was a venerable hotel in Lexington. First positive, when you walk in the lobby has been completely redone. It looks very stylish. The restaurant is very good and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful.The negatives, if you look on the website, someone did a fabulous job of presenting this as a very sleek stylish part of the curio collection of Hilton. They distinctly list three restaurants. They list a bourbon tasting room, they list a full service steakhouse and they list a morning breakfast coffee Café with photos of beautiful pastries, and croissants. The truth is there is one main restaurant. What they are calling the breakfast coffee area is literally a 3 foot section at the end of the bar where it makes a turn and they have an espresso machine and a small plastic case with some wrapped muffins. There is what looks like could be a beautiful bourbon tasting room that I only saw being used by the servers to wrap silverware. Breakfast is set up as a buffet, but they set it up on the top of the bar, 20 years in the food industry, I've never seen something so ridiculous. Directly in front of the bar, they have an area with long tables. They could easily accommodate groups of families or friends in the morning, and there is a long serving area built into the wall with a hard top surface. And shelving that basically looks like a sneeze guard and additional huge shelving units underneath the could store plates and serving utensils for a buffet. but it's not being used ever.They have musicians playing on the weekend but it's so loud. You can't hear each other speaking. Part of the problem is the room is set up like a large bourbon barn. But again if you look at their website, it looks like an elegant steakhouse, but the vibe is really more like, a bar.The place is old and has been added onto so many times that the front desk hands you a map to find your room. However, the map that they gave us was incorrect. None of the halls have directional signs on them that show, for example rooms 100 through 150 go right 151 to 200 go left. The hallways and the rooms are in horrible condition. There is mold and musty odors throughout. The carpet in the hallways doesn't look like it's been cleaned ever. The paint is like six layers chipping off. They literally have breaker boxes that are hanging half open with welded padlocks on them. And we found a palmetto bug in the closet in the room. The bathrooms are so small that you have to step inside and squeeze against the wall to close the door. You can't open the door all the way because it hits the shower curtain rod.Another positive though Stella, who works in the kitchen was amazing. She was extraordinarily friendly. She went out of her way to accommodate my companion who is gluten-free.

Not a very good stay.We spent 2 nights at the hotel with breakfast but we didn't get any coupon, later we came to pick up our breakfast coupon and the front desk took forever, I didn't understand why. Wasn't it in the system?I called a front desk a couple times and everytime they hung up the phone before I finished it, once I called back they did not pick up on purpose.LAST THING, THE CLEANING TEAM THROW AWAY MY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER AND REPLACED IT WITH SOMETHING ELSE. HOW CAN THEY TOUCH CUSTOMER'S STUFF???I was confused when I saw the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, because the hotel have their refill in the room already, until I packed my stuff. We talked to the front desk AGAIN. They refused EVERYTHING, nobody took responsible on this situation, we only can file a complain AND STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK, IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS ALREADY.YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO THROW CUSTOMERS BELONGINGS AWAY. MY CONTAINERS ARE REFILLABLE. YOU CANNOT DO THAT!

EhWorn out and worn down. Has such potential but needs updating and some dang paint badly. Lots of missing paint on door jams and nightstand had bubbles in the wood top.No fridges in the room. For the price each night a mini fridge is not too much to ask.And no vending except all the way back in the lobby? Elevator is is in the back, total opposite of entrance lobby.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT THIS LOCATION.You are taking a 50/50 chance by booking this place that your wedding will go smoothly. If you don't want to risk it, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FAST!Among many other things, this place is NOT WORTH IT.I don't even care about the money, I'm only doing this review to give couples an insight of what to expect when going here.We showed up the day of our wedding to find out the main feature of the building was under construction. They never communicated to us that the place to take pictures was under construction. We are the only wedding that I can find pictures online where we have ZERO pictures of the main feature of the building. Why would anybody book this place and pay a stupid amount of money, if they could not take pictures in front of the building! IT'S THE WHOLE REASON YOU BOOK THIS PLACE TO BEGIN WITH!Besides complete lack of communication on the facilities, other things that took place.- Building leaked during the reception.- Basic outlet plugs in the bridal suite did not work.- Did not receive food we paid for.- They closed the bar 45 minutes before last call, despite the fact we paid for the whole time.To top it all off, the management might be the most unprofessional in the entire hospitality industry. No follow-up, sent a complaint letter to them after, no reply. Went to corporate, then finally got a reply. When we finally got a phone call, the manager was as unprofessional and disrepectful as someone could be. He has ZERO business being a manager of what is supposed to be a Hilton Curio Collection.Thankfully, I recorded that conversation as well and have forwarded it to corporate. I will continue to update this post as I receive more information back.

This place is run down and the hallways smelled mildew, stains everywhere. Our room had two outlets hanging out of the wall and a smoke detector with the battery taking out of it.Find somewhere else to stay!!

It is 100% not what it seems. The pictures may as well be AI generated. We booked a Thoroughbred Suite and it's much smaller than expected (yes they do give measurements of the whole unit) but the pictures of the bathroom are deceiving. This place needs so much work, there are stains everywhere and holes, mirrors falling out of walls, and nothing is in place. Oh and plugs don't work. I can't believe Hilton would claim a place like this. Also it's right off of the main road, it's not secluded (we were expecting it to be off the beaten path from the pictures). We had to walk our luggage through the rain because the front awning is not fully covered. Then we had to shove the luggage cart into a very undersized elevator, push it out and then walk our luggage from the cart to our room because of an additional set of stairs on our floor... "oh why didn't you ask if there was a direct ramp to your floor?" Well by the time we made it to the second floor we had already asked the only employee to be found (non were at the front desk after the check in process was completed) where the elevator was and the girl said, "down this hall way and to the right I think!" You think? You work here. 10/10 very disappointed. Please don't waste your money here.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. We had an issue with the bedding and made a request to get a new set of sheets. I called the front desk and was told that they would check for them and if there wasn't any they would need to go (I think she said to the basement) to get some and that there would be a delay. I stayed up for an hour and a half and fell asleep in the chair at the desk. The sheets never came and the phone never rang with an explanation. This is not what I expect from Hilton especially for $350 for a standard King room. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
