I've seen The Blue Crab so often at events, and I finally had a chance to try it out this year at the J-town Summer Craft Beer Festival. And I'm so glad I got the chance, because it was great! I opted for the Maryland Crabcake Sandwich Platter. It was served with a crabcake sandwich, Lay's potato chips, and a pickle. The sandwich was really tasty. I'm usually not big on condiments, but the remoulade from The Blue Crab is delicious! It perfectly complemented the sandwich. The truck also offers grilled cheese sandwiches and acai bowls. I hope to have a chance to visit in the future to try both!

The Blue Crab is another great food truck that brings a different culinary culture into the Ville. I love me some seafood, and although Louisville has some pretty great spots around town for it, sometimes it can be heard to find what you want when you lack the ocean. The Blue Crab offers a New England-type experience with their crab, and not to mention that they also have acai bowls! I was lucky to find this truck at the Big Four Arts Festival. I got to try out their crab sandwich platter, which comes with chips and a pickle. The crab was really good! It's not often you can find crab sandwiches around here, plus they had, like, 30 different bottles of hot sauce. WIN!!! Oh, and did I mention they sell Ale8? DOUBLE WIN. I would love to see them get a new option or two on their menu one day, but couldn't complain at all if I got to have their crab again!

The Blue Crab showed up in front of my work building last week. Never saw it before so I started digging. Really glad the other Yelpers added photos. Helped make my decision to try The Blue Crab a lot easier. Really condensed menu, so making the decision on what to get was easy. I ordered the crab cake sandwich platter. I wouldn't really call it a "platter" because it consisted of the sandwich, chips and a pickle. The sandwich comes plaid, with only the crab cake, and laid out in front of the truck is a slew of hot sauces, including a house made sauce which tasted like a spiced mayo. The sandwich was really good! Real lumps of crabs, a nice crust on the cake and a toasted bun.I will definitely be going back, but only on days where I want to splurge and am not starving. I could have easily eaten two of those sandwiches! :)

I've eaten at the blue crab twice and I'll admit I'm at the point where I'm very excited to see that blue truck!! The crab cakes are cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh tasty crab meat. My wife had their grilled cheese sandwich and was very pleased as well. I recommend that you look for the blue truck with crabs on it. You don't be disappointed!

The blue crab truck people are the same people that have the crab cakes at st james court art fair. at 3rd and magnolia .So you know they are good. its $10 for a crab cake sandwich that comes with chips and pickle spear. this is reasonale price considering how much crab and lobster have gone up. But they also have a good grilled cheese sandwich. I love the red aioli sauce they have for the crab cakes , I even dip my chips in it good stuff.
