This property benefited from a great location, beautiful accommodations with a great story and a gracious host! I could not have had a better time at the Bashford Manor Bed and Breakfast and look forward to my next return!

We booked this Inn for a stay for our relatives and it was PERFECT!! They loved it, we loved it and we could not have asked for a better location or host. We needed to extend the stay and our host was very accommodating. The suite was clean and they had everything they needed in it. The host took her time to take the family on a tour of this historical site, which they loved. The outdoor patio was also very nice to unwind on before heading to bed. We will definitely book this place again for another family visit.

A great getaway for the weekend! Staying in this historic building was a treat. We loved getting to learn the history of the building and sit on the wonderful patio out back. The staff was very nice as well. It was a hidden gem tucked away in the city. Can't wait to visit again!

Very nice experience. Very cool to stay in a piece of Louisville's history. Room was clean and comfortable. The owner Cynthia was very nice and gave us a tour of the house. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice bed and breakfast experience.

This was the first time I had stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and was unsure what expect but was pleasantly surprised. We did not stay in the main building which according to the staff is haunted but stayed in the adjacent building which was still nice. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed and the room was quite large and spacious. The food was adequate and had a nice staff. The one complaint was we had an ant problem on the last day but to be fair spring just arrived and so bugs are a common problem and we were our door opens to the parking lot.

What a beautiful historic mansion inn! The decor was amazing, with caring attention to detail. The owner just glows with southern hospitality & and pride for the history she fabulously restored in the inn. She is kind and helpful, with great recommendations for site-seeing & dining. The historic inn and grounds are very inviting & beautifully restored. The room was very spacious with beautiful tall ceilings, well furnished, quiet and clean. The claw-foot tub was a nice, romantic touch. It was like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern amenities like comfortable AC, kitchenette with fridge & TV. The grounds are lush & shaded with several patios & porches, even a coy pond. It was so quiet & relaxing, like a park surrounding the inn. We enjoyed it being so easily accessible from the highway & easy to navigate into downtown Louisville.

Awesome place to stay and a little history to go along with it! Cynthia was a great host, and is always available for questions. Being away from home for an extended period isn't easy, but this place helped by being so cozy and homey! Huge room, easy access to pretty much everything in Louisville, and unique! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful historic home on 3 acres in the middle of a city! I had my coffee every morning on the huge porch listening to the sounds of nature. It's a quick trip to the Highlands and Downtown, and nice to return to quiet at the end of a long day. And host Cynthia and her partner Drew are two of the kindest, most generous people you'll ever meet. They only want to make your stay the best it can be!
