The Back Porch Saloon

Was in town for a volleyball tournament and called one day ahead for a party of 20. Gentleman on the phone was super friendly and accommodating.Our drinks and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was good and they did a great job matching up our 13 year olds with their parents w/ separate checks. I had the 1/2 a Reuben and it was super tender. I just wish the bread would have been toasted (it was just a cold piece of bread). My husband ordered the 1/2 slab of ribs and they were SO tender with plenty of sauce. The only thing we were bummed about is our soups and salads came out at the same time as our meal. Was a great place for a large group to accommodate a variety of food choices.

Been here many times but today was terrible. Food was bad and service was subpar. I ordered the Sunday special which was the cheesesteak which the restaurant houses the Philadelphia eagles club, I would have thought it would have been good. No mayonnaise or anything like liquid cheese, no onions, no peppers, just overcooked burnt meat and provolone cheese. My wife got her usual which was the Italian sub. Was plain and didn't taste Italian dressing. Service wasn't great. We had to stop her for refills and never saw her again until we were done. I will come back just wanted to share my experience this time.

I came with a big group and we came around happy hour. So $3.75 margaritas on Wednesdays and they were pretty strong. Besides the appetizers and the entree options it seems like everything is pretty much a sandwich which was still pretty good. I built my own sandwhich which was pastrami, corn beef and Swiss, with lettuce, tomato, and mayo, in a Texas toast. The sandwhich was very good and very thick I wish it was a hot sandwich though instead of a cold sandwich. And I wish the cheese was melted but otherwise everything else was pretty good.

I went for the first time to meet up with family in town for the holidays. Inside was nice and clean and gave off your typical sports bar type vibe. Our waitress brought out drinks out quickly along with refills. After we ordered everyone got their food but me. I got mine about 10 minutes after, so I believe it didn't get rang in when we ordered. They did take my food off the bill. I got the wings I ordered to go and ate them once I got home and they ended up still being really good.

I am a big fan of spicy black bean soup and they have it on their regular menu. Yay! Cute kitchy decor. Great bar food. Service was great. Busy place at lunch time.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had a very large group of people (including 11 teenagers!). They did an exceptional job of handling not only the size of our group, but getting the food and drinks out timely. Our server Caden (Kaden?) was so attentive and helpful, very cheerful and just did an overall amazing job. I very much appreciate not only their willingness to host our large group, but the attention to detail to make it a great experience. I'd highly recommend!

We were traveling home through the area and this spot had a high rating on Google reviews. It was in the middle of an industrial area but definitely popular at lunch time. The menu had a little of everything, we opted to share a few appetizers. Chipoltle chicken nachos, loaded fries and had to try the ribs sampler (said voted best in area). The ribs were very tasty just a lot of sauce, nachos were great just needed some extra salsa or something on side. The cheese fries were underwhelming (in the photo it was crinkle cut) they were more like McDonald's, should have gone with potato skins. Overall not a bad stop

The Back Porch Saloon...an interesting establishment.Took us 5 years to try it. Why? Part of the reason is the location & façade seem...stand off-ish, unwelcoming, which is how the service could also be construed.Pros:Some food:The Spicy Garlic wing sauce was fantastic! Better than B dubs or Wings & Rings.Mozzarella sticks were above average. Amusingly served with a Heinz 57 marinara cup.Beer selection: Largest local beer selection I have seen!Cons:Speaking of beer selection, waitress could read her list of all the wonderfully local brews, but not what type/style they were. Uhh... how is one supposed to order? I avoid IPAs, my husband prefers gose or sours, so...make sure you have your phone handy to look it up I guess?Deviled eggs were not good, not worth ordering. Homemade ones I grew up eating at family functions tasted better. Same goes for potato skins, not worth it.Service:It's like she didn't give a rat's behind we were there. Though I observed the people renting out the party room have friendly interactions with the staff...maybe they only like people they know?Listen, if you're looking for a place that pretty quiet for a bar/restaurant, with no frills, and do not want to deal with annoying nice waitresses, then Back Porch is your place. Just know your beers. ;)

This is THE Philadelphia Eagles bar in the Cincinnati/Northern KY/Southwest IN area. The Midwest Eagles Nest sets up here for every game and they are FANTASTIC! Don't bother with O'Malleys, Lucious Q or anywhere else during football season.

Food is good not great. Little better than normal bar food but nothing special. Great service, decorated for Christmas. Indoor and outdoor seating with a bar. Changing table in girls bathroom.
