I've been to Thailand and have been to Thai restaurants recommended by Thai friends in Seattle, as well as great Thai places in NY and Seoul. This place is fantastic!! Do not let the simple name of the restaurant and humble out of appearance fool you. This is THE best Thai food you will find around here. I drove an hour and a half to eat here again because I was blown away by the quality the last time I came here. I was not disappointed!!The chicken is cut in nice big slices - comfortable to eat but none of those pathetic scrawny pieces that look like leftover scraps that some other places use. The vegetables are fresh!! You can taste how fresh they are!! The sauce is flavorful but not overpowering. They definitely didn't add a handful of sugar to cover anything up. I even ate the cauliflower and I don't even like cauliflower!! Now, the last time I came service was slow because it was one kind old Asian lady doing everything. But this time they actually had a young waiter and she was sweet, prompt, and didn't miss a beat. Excellent service! Don't hesitate. This place is a winner!

Went on a Tuesday evening & service was kind of slow & they weren't that many people there. It's pretty inside with their lights. Food was good. Pleased with the big portion size. I had the shrimp pad Thai & it was delicious. My husband had some kind of beef salad dish which he said was just a bit too salty for him & had some mysterious crunchy thing that he couldn't identify what it was that was super hard that bothered his teeth

Stop by this place for lunch. Ordered basil rice with chicken. No basil at all. Got a bunch of onions few pieces of carrots and broccoli. It taste like dessert. The flavor was very sweet. Service was attentive and rush to take your order. Decorating was very nice they have tv playing showing thai authentic cooking. The foods are cater toward the western taste.. all sweet and more sweet. This is not Thai foods disappoint that they don't use basil when it call basil stir fried. Not return.. they are the only Thai restaurants in Owensboro...

Our server as the best! He not only explained menu options, he also told us about the area. Our server also made our Thai sweet tea, and although it was sweeter than I like, it helped soften the spiciness of the meal. I went with level 2 spice and it was perfect for me. Not crowded and a comfortable dining area makes this one of the best places to eat in Owensboro!

My first experience here was testy as I ordered the Thai Noodle Soup online and selected what I thought was the lowest spice level (Level 1). The soup was so spicy I couldn't eat it at all! I was only able to eat about half of it before it was truly too much. I believed a mistake was made with my order so I ordered again a few weeks later and called in to specify 'no spice'. This time it was perfect and truly enjoyable. The meat was tender and the broth still had a great flavor (though I could tell the spice was a major contributor as it was duller without it). The noodles and vegetables were separated as this was a to go order but they were perfectly prepared. The Thai noodle soup is very similar to pho with some differences in the broth mostly. The summer roll was also good but I would recommend a different appetizer as it didn't add much to the meal. When I went to pick up my order both times the staff were very helpful and friendly. They had my order packed and ready at the specified time so I was able to get in and out quickly. The restaurant was clean and had a good seating layout but was dimly lit both times I entered. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend those in the area to try their takeout.

The food is extremely tasty, I had the perfect pineapple curry with rice I have had in a long time. The level 4 suits me with my Indian spice level :). Service was impeccable, she was so friendly and always smiling. Ambiance was nice and quiet, suitable for a Thai restaurant. My visit to Kentucky was worth it after visiting this place.

Great service from Taylor, very helpful, friendly and attentive Great cashew chicken dish, plentiful and full of flavor! Got the summer roll appetizer, mostly good, but the anise/ licorice taste kinda threw the dish off for us. My wife ordered the C3.Pad Se Ew, liked the overall flavor but was not a fan of the rice noodles, they were more like a "butter noodle". I found it tasty and covered most of the noodles. I definitely would try this place again if in the area.

Excellent spice level on my soup and only level 2 recommended by the waiter and he was dead on spot. The lemongrass made the dish. Very generous sizes of entrees and I enjoyed my Thai ice tea.

The quality of the food was good but the quantity was very poor. Paying $25 for my entree (added another protein) was entirely disappointing. There was enough rice to feed a family of four and barely enough chicken and shrimp to satisfy my cravings. For $25 I should have received more than 3 shrimp and a few pieces of sliced chicken. (Possibly 4-5 small thin slices of chicken)This is my 2nd time trying this restaurant and both times the servings are not the size to support the prices. Don't get me wrong the food is very good but the portion sizes are minimal with exception of the rice and I am not a big carb eater so that was a huge waste. On another note my appetite is not huge so for me to still be hungry after this meal is a sure sign the portions are minimal.

2 stars for cleanliness. Worst Pad Thai I have ever had. Soggy noodles with too much sauce that tasted like straight peanut butter. Husband had a soup and it was decent but over spiced. Appetizers were bland and greasy. For the price, Thai Food Owensboro is very disappointing. Skip this place and drive somewhere else if you want good Thai food.
