Tempo by Hilton Louisville Downtown NuLu

A new hotel in NULU. Very modern and very environmentally conscious. Social hour in the lobby from 4-6 and other activities keep you entertained! Rooftop dining that's wonderful and a friendly efficient staff! Recommend highly!

This is a beautiful new hotel in downtown Louisville. (opened May 2024) The rooms are very nice and spacious. with a huge full size mirror on it. The room setup includes a mini fridge, a vanity, a desk & chair that faces the window so you can enjoy the view, a large flat screen tv with Netflix capabilities, a garment rack (no actual closet) and a steamer (no iron/ironing board). The beds are very comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm. No worries about staying charged up while in the room, because there are outlets conveniently located throughout the room. (on the vanity, on the headboards and there is a charging pad on the nightstand).There is a barn style door for the bathroom with a huge full size mirror on it. In the bathroom there is a bluetooth speaker in the mirror that is great for listening to music while you get ready for wherever you need to go.The shower offers a rainfall & handheld shower head with great water pressure.Outside of the room, the beauty continues throughout the hotel. The lobby area is beautifully decorated with plants and modern decor/wall art. There a multiple seating areas available as well as a large meeting space that is also beautifully decorated. There is also have a bar and snack area that appeared to be well stocked. Onsite parking is available for a fee and includes in/out privileges with validation.I opted for the digital key, so I didn't have much interaction with the staff, however, the few encounters that we did have were pleasant.There is a rooftop restaurant, High Stakes Grill, but we never made it up to check it out. Although I really enjoyed my stay, I was a bit disappointed as we had specifically chosen this hotel to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Prior to our visit, I called to inquire about any special amenities for the occasion, and I was told that a Tempo-branded snack box with a birthday message would be placed in our room before our arrival. Unfortunately, when we checked in, there was nothing waiting for her. I understand if certain requests can't be accommodated, but it's frustrating to be told something will be done and then not have it happen. I'm not sure if it was a communication breakdown, but this was the one letdown during an otherwise pleasant stay.

Cafe worker was rude and they were out of common items like mocha, spoons, and tops for iced beverages. The coffee was terrible. Food and drinks in the rooftop grille were not anything special and not worth the money. The TV in the room was ridiculously complicated to operate and took around 15 minutes to shut off after hitting power. For the price of this hotel, a coffee maker in the room would have been nice. I mean, they had the funds to put lighting behind the headboards...I did like the Brooklyn Apotheke toiletries in the bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable.

First time going to a Tempo so I was very excited. Check in was easy. Found the room quickly. Fully booked restaurant upstairs but had bar seating with my family and we still had a great time! Food was amazing. A little expensive, but I was celebrating anyways so it didn't matter to me. Their breakfast spot was also top notch as it was my to go back to VA and it got the bill for me. Back to the hotel room. The room was really nice. Barn door with a HUGE, basically floor to ceiling, mirror to the bathroom with a Bluetooth mirror and some good water pressure in the shower. Steamer, no iron but I didn't check to see if I could get an iron either. The TV was big and had a Netflix connection. Overall it was a great experience. Would I stay again? Yes, but my view wasn't the greatest so I'd probably choose one I could see more with

Appreciate the eco-consciousness. Great rooms. Lots of lobby space with different environments to work. Love the water options and the cafe with local coffee.

This is a beautiful, new hotel in a great location in downtown Louisville. Every employee we have encountered has been so nice and welcoming! The room is very nice, spacious and a great shower! Hot tip: they are eco friendly so bring your fave insulated cup and refill at the hydration station...which features still, sparkling and alkaline water.Highly recommend!
