2/22/25 My husband and I had a fantastic meal at Taste of India. We ordered the goat biryani, which was incredibly flavorful, delicious, and generously portioned--enough for leftovers! The garlic naan was perfectly fluffy and aromatic, the lentil soup was spicy but well-seasoned, and the vegetable samosas were crispy and so tasty. Everything was filling and absolutely delicious. We didn't eat inside but the ambiance seemed very pleasant and inviting. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

Great spot for a variety of Indian food! My friends and I all got medium spice tikka masala chicken with garlic naan! The service was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. The ambiance was home-style comfort - just some standard booths (early 2000s era!). Overall a nice spot for Indian food but a bit expensive for what we ordered (~$20 for just the tikka masala). I would come back though with friends.

I was in the mood for something spicy and this place did not disappoint. OMG the coconut curry chicken with extra spice was amazing. We also ordered the garlic naan. My son and I split the meal and it was more than enough for both of us. The service was good and they were prompt in getting needed water for the extra hot curry. I definitely recommend if you are in the mood for Indian food.

We stopped in for a late lunch today. The food was incredible. We shared the Gobi Manchurian. I had the chicken coconut curry. My husband had the lamb. The food was hot and spicy. The service was incredible. If you like Indian food you should definitely check it out.

I went to this place during lunchtime to check out the lunch buffet. Unfortunately, even though the website and door outside said they are serving a buffet when I walked in they said there is no lunch buffet. I ended up staying anyway I ordered malai kofta and garlic naan. The food was delicious but definitely way pricer than most Indian places I have been to. The malai kofta only came with 3 koftas for about $17 it should've had at least 4+. Although flavorful I would probably think before returning due to the price alone.

So far I have been to three Indian restaurants in Lexington, and this one is easily my favorite. The portion of food compared to money spent is some of the highest ratio Iv seen in any restaurant after recent price raises everywhere. Me and a friend went and spent 30$ each, and we both had enough to take home and eat two more times, after eating at the place. There naan ranges from about 4-5$, but you get a basket with 4/5 pieces, while other places Iv usually got 2/3 for the same price. My friend got the chicken Tikka, which comes with 3 chicken legs and 3 thighs, onions and peppers, and comes out steaming and sizzling like a fajita. For the both of us we got like 4 cups of rice for our meals which was more then plenty, we even left some there after taking our food home. Waiter was super nice and polite the entire time, I love how everything is served. You get water in a wine glass and it's poured out of a copper pitcher which I think is a nice touch.

I've had a few less than stellar takeout experiences just in terms of wait and service. The food remains good, but not so amazing as to override my irritation in getting it.

Came in for the first time for some takeout after a long week! Got the Palek paneer, garlic Naan and a chai. All of which was AMAZING! My mouth is watering thinking about the next time I can have this. Seasoned perfectly and the medium was still SPICY! Can't wait to try more item from this restaurant.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I've never had a bad meal. The chicken tikka masala is my go-to. Truly creamy and delicious! The butter naan and garlic naan are amazing. You can't go wrong with either one. The waiters always ask if you'd like it spicy/ what spice level you prefer so if you're someone who can't handle spicy, ITS OK! Don't be afraid to try it bc you're afraid it will be spicy. You don't have to have it spicy.

The chicken curry and garlic naan are my absolute favorites. I had the chicken tikki masala ad well. It was also good but definitely packs some heat at the medium spice level.I ordered a drink and it was TINY! So get your beverage elsewhere. BUT the food was absolutely outstanding!
