Me and my family went here yesterday and it was amazing! On the outside it looks a little creepy but on the inside, it had a comforting vibe! The man who took our order was REALLY nice and even gave us cool Chinese calendars! the food, even better! I got crab rangoon and the beef and broccoli and my family got theirs. Everyone was full and commented that the food was really good! Would recommend if you want to get Chinese food quick and cheap.

A hidden gem on the west side that can't be beat for delicious Chinese takeout. I have tried all the favorites like lo mein, General Tso's and fried rice and none have disappointed.

We love their food. It's always done right and tastes great. It's a plus that it's a West Side business and close by.

I love this place. I've been going here for years and always find myself here when I come back to visit. So yes, five stars for what it is. Crappy, greasy cheap Chinese food. And I mean that in a good way. The food is dirt cheap, and it tastes great. I usually order the either beef or shrimp with broccoli. They also have great fried rice and general tsos chicken. My cousin who hates Asian food even likes eating here. They have great lunch specials. They're usually around $6 ish dollars for an entree with either fried or steamed rice, and soup or an egg roll. For something cheap and quick, it's definitely worth checking out.

This place is so good that it ran Wal-Mart away to the other side of the highway. They just couldn't compete...nor could radio shack or premiere video. The store may look a little dodgy...it may look like it's owned by a guy named Hodji that's running cock fights in the back...but rest assured this place is the balls. The chicken fried rice takes you back to the good times. Like when MD girl's bball had decent assistant coaching, and all fights took place at Howell park or Golfmoor, and Billy Wayne was the Zach Morris of the hallways. The world was better then...but not Taste of China's chicken fried rice. That my friends is timeless.

I am from St . Louis, MO, I went to Evansville for the Indiana State Games to qualify for the National Senior Games. I went to Taste of China and ordered a Singapore noddle to go. When I got to the hotel, I realized how big the serving was. I finished the whole dish in three meals. The noodle had just the right amount of spice and the ingredient was incredible, there was so much meats that I could have cooked another dish with it if I want. This was the best Singapore noodle deal I ever have. I might have to make another trip to Evansvile just to order that dish again.
