Taste Fine Wine & Bourbons

The next day, Bruce K and I met up again and were on a mission: to get the "soused" badge. Our first stop was at Taste Fine Wines & Bourbons. Bruce had a bourbon slushie and I had a rose slushie -- both were delicious and very refreshing on a hot day. Gosh, it's hot today. It's time to start with a cold drink and see where that goes. I met up with my wonderful Yelp friend Jasmine A. here and we are trying again to hit the "Soused" badge!About an hour here with a bourbon slushie and a rose slushie for her. We sat at the window table where a lovely young lady waited on us. Very pleasant and friendly and it sure made me want to stick around. Drinks were yummy and refreshing.Taste has a HUUUUUUUGE selection of bourbons and wines for sale here. Racks and racks for sale. I couldn't tell you if the prices are reasonable or competitive but if there's something you're looking for in downtown Louisville, I'll bet they have it here.[Review 20196 overall - 229 in Kentucky - 1173 of 2023.]

They have the best bourbon selection! The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. Not to mention they make the best old fashioned.

Enjoyed a delicious bourbon after dinner one eveneing! Hubby had a great glass of wine. Cozy place with hundreds of bourbon choices! If you are down in NULU, stop in for a flight or taste of your favorite or hard to find bourbon!

Taste was nice when we stopped there on a quick trip through Louisville in 2023. But on a week-long trip in 2024 Taste became our neighborhood bar with its excellent selection of bourbons and comfortable low-key atmosphere. Best of all, the staff really knows bourbon and makes it easy to find an excellent new one. Many thanks to Michelle for making us feel at home while we enjoyed our pours.

Stopped in for a drink or two. Great selection of KY and other bourbon. The wine selection is great too and you can purchase hundreds of bottles.

Shout out to Lauren - service is always amazing. I walk in looking to buy wine and leave with craft distillery bourbons that we absolutely love. Friendly environment and my favorite place to unwind. Love seeing my favorite bartenders face and feel at home.

Taste is an amazing place to come and relax over a glass of wine or bourbon. The staff have always been so accommodating and welcoming every time we have visited. Most recently, Lauren was fantastic and not only served us but became our personal photographer with Santa.
