I finally returned to Tacos Locos after quite a while. I tried to find the food truck a month ago and it was no longer at the BP station. Finally found them across the street in a parking lot just a bit further south on Montgomery Road. They are set back further than before but still visible with quite a few parking spots. I was sad that they were out of shrimp for shrimp tacos, but it was late in the day. So I went with chicken tacos. Love that they still use two corn tortillas for each taco. Each had plenty of filling and the traditional onion and cilantro with lime wedges on the side. Also enjoy the slices of fresh cucumber to munch on. I tried a quesadilla for the first time. Went with a combo of mushroom and spinach. It was good. Not sure if I'll order it again though. It doesn't travel well. So it sat in the container while I drove home, and it got a bit soggy on the bottom. Still tasty though. I also ordered a side of refried beans and chips. The chips come with salsa that I don't use. I dip the chips in the beans and enjoy them that way :). The chips could have been fresher, but overall it was a good meal.

as my quest for the best burrito in Cincinnati continues I include my recent trip to the tacos locos food truck. Haven't heard read and seen all kinds of fantastic things I had high hopes for what they would deliver. Food up and ordered a steak burrito the Saturday before Father's day, they were running a Father's day special where you also got a free order of nachos with any order. I told them I wasn't a father and it wasn't even Father's day and they still wanted to give me free food. That's a definite plus to start! I also made a mistake when ordering my burrito and forgot to ask them to put the sour cream on the side, after I told them they said they already made it but would remake my burrito for me if I wanted, which is another big plus. Good quality customer service.so far things are looking pretty good for tacos locos, and whenever I got home the burrito look great. headset on the flat top and got in a little bit of crispiness, the cheese and probably melted all in there, they even pre-sliced it down the middle. I dug in... It wasn't amazing. It was definitely good, v steak was plentiful, and the cheese had definitely melted. However it was all kind of in with one corner of the burrito roll so it all melted into a clump. The beans inside were extremely rich, but also thin. I was absolutely happy with the purchase, and see it as a solid option. But not the best burrito in Cincinnati.Free nachos, by the way, were loaded up and solid as well.

While getting gas at the BP in Pleasant Ridge I decided to place an order from this food truck, because whatever they were making at the time smelled absolutely delicious. They have birria tacos, regular tacos, tortas, burritos and etc.I ordered a steak, chicken, and shrimp taco. Each taco came with salsa, cilantro, onions, and cucumbers on the side. Every taco tasted delicious! The chicken was juicy and shredded. The steak had great flavor although it was a little tough. The shrimp was my favorite. They were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. For the price, friendly service, and convenience factor I definitely plan on going back again! It's very difficult to find authentic Mexican food in Cincinnati, but I would say this food truck is one of the best in the area.

Love this truck. The fact that it in a gas station parking lot adds to the charm. My absolute favorite thing is their specialty burrito - the hot salsa actually has a kick in it (and I eat very spicy food) so it's not for the weak of heart when it comes to heat. Queso is also tasty and they do fun specials (like Birria or elote) depending on when you're there. The wait is reasonable, but they're always busy. Just speaks to the food!

I've been coming to this taco truck every since I found out about it (about 5 years ago). I love it! The food speaks for itself. Anything with chicken (pollo) is AMAZING!!! I have no idea how they marinate the chicken, but it's freakin' delicious, along with their hot salsa.Message to the business: you all need to bottle the hot salsa, and sale it. It is the BEST I've EVER had!!!

If you haven't guessed yet, I have a fondness for tacos. Seems my lady and I are having tacos at least once a week. So, naturally, we like trying different taco spots (though we have a couple favorite go-tos, especially El Taco Bus). Tacos Locos had been on our radar for a while, we just hadn't gone together yet. My lady had tacos from there before though and said it was good, so after a while of thinking about it, we finally had some together. I was impressed for sure.Their menu was much bigger than I expected, loaded with different options for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, even breakfast options. My lady ordered a chicken taco and a chorizo quesadilla. I went with three tacos; one steak, one al pastor, and one shrimp. My tacos were really good, though the al pastor seemed to lack pineapple, and the steak was just a little dry. My lady really liked hers, especially the chorizo quesadilla, which I thought were excellent too. The salsa verde we got with it all definitely had a spicy kick! Which was good because we love spicy! Great taco spot for sure and one that's been in the Pleasant Ridge area for quite some time. I'll likely try one of their burritos next time. Wonder which one though... Decisions, decisions, eh? But no matter what you choose, chances are it'll be very tasty!

We were so excited to find tGis taco truck open when another favorite of ours was closed! There was no line- we were helped immediately. The gal behind the counter was polite, kind, and helpful. The "hot salsa" is a salsa verde- and the mild is a Smokey red pepper salsa. (And definitely still has a kick to it!) We tried 3 tacos- chicken, asada, and al pastor. Al pastor had the most flavor- but my favorite was the asada. Taco truck was clean- and our food was ready in 5 minutes! We'll definitely be back!
