Good tacos and LOTS of sauces to choose from. There was plenty of time to do template sauces because it took a bit for our food to come out. Friendly staff, though there wasn't always someone behind the counter to greet customers and take orders, which made things confusing for while. Servers were walking around and filling drink orders to take to tables, so again, confusing. The guy who did take our order was extremely chipper and energetic. We went during summer and it was hot outside. The outside patio, which is mostly shaded, still had a lot of lunching customers, but we chose one of the sunny bar style seats and the front of the house. The restaurant is a converted house, by the way. There was darke, quieter seating in the back, which you walk through on your way to the restroom.

The food was tasty and the nachos were a great way to get a lot of food for the price. The tacos individually were a bit expensive but they were very well seasoned and very fresh.

Stopped in with family after a soccer game for quick dinner before heading home. Ambiance was fine, pretty empty, but was later on a Sunday night, so not unexpected. Service was fine as well, friendly, I have nothing negative to say about them. Pricing reasonable. The food was not very good. Kids chicken quesadillas were fine, wife's fish taco pretty good. Quality of the steak in Torta Asada and kids steak taco was awful, many pieces inedible. Fries queso style were cold and not cooked through. That said- zero points deduction for that because only an idiot like myself would order French fries at a Taquería. All in all- not terrible, not great.

Had an amazing lunch date here! We went on a Monday afternoon. Parking was perfect as we were able to find a spot outback in their private parking lot. This was my first time here & I was not disappointed. Incredible tacos that are bursting with flavor. Yum yum yum! My favorite was the Al Pastor taco. We saw a lot of people coming in & grabbing to go boxes so it seems to be a very popular place for lunch. The outside seating area looks like the perfect place to hang out & sip on a margarita once the weather warms up!

Pricy but good value as they aren't dinky tacos and the quality is superb. The carnitas are my favorite and must try I particularly enjoy the pickled onions on top ask for extra on the side. We enjoy sitting outside on a nice day with Friends while enjoying any number of frozen cocktails. The service is always fast and polite, the restrooms are always clean.. great job guys!!!

Love the J-town location. Plenty of parking and indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly staff. The prices of tacos have gone up though... around $6-$7 for each taco. Recommend the bowls which are around $14-18. Get more food/flavor.

Taco Luchador is a weekly favorite and today I noticed a new list of specials. I tried the Taco Pasilla Shrimp ($6.25)Which was delicious! My usual favorites are the Crunchy Mexican Salad, adding grilled chicken. Also love the Maduros (plantains) for dessert. The margaritas are something special and NOW they offer either a small or a double--go for the double sized to scar yourself a trip back to the counter for another. Or, get a pitcher of margs and share with a friend. Cheers!P.S. The rest rooms are always clean and the patio out front is comfy and instagram worthy!

I'm a sucker for this kind of taco joint, and Taco Luchador does not disappoint. They have a really terrific variety of different tacos and I haven't found one I disliked yet. And also a big fan of their salsas and guac.

Hmmmm.... I'm also a little confused about this place. When you walk in you feel as if you're some one percent-er's passive income project. I don't know if that's a good thing? I feel like this is just some sort of life hack for the Uber rich to eat food every day for the next 60 years. To ensure their own healthcare. Yum... food! On a plate! Everyday! I really needed a salad or something... so, quickly put my copy of Karl Marx, Manifesto.. in my burlap satchel (my grandmother made after she staked her claim in the land run) and grabbed a quick bite!Primarily, because I too, believe in eating food for a multitude of reasons. I prefer to eat in complete silence because I fear my Trumplican nuclear holocaust when discussing politics. The cuisine screams: I am kind of dead inside but I want a taco.. and the borders have been closed so I guess I will make it myself. I just have one question: where in God's creation are the friggin luchadors. I mean in most border towns you find yourself trying to find out the luchadors identities. Even as north as both pan handles. Or even the Bay Area, has that. I didn't really get it.Suggestion: take the slip off a copy of Atlas Shrugged, and sink down in your chair... just match the vibe... "you're willing to take government assistance but you don't want to and you judge anyone else who needs assistance."
