The last couple of times we've gone to a pumpkin patch near Louisville, the crowds have been unmanageable. We've waited and waited and left empty-handed. Not being able to get food, a table, a drink, or get on a hayride just isn't fun. Today we decided to try our luck at a new spot, Sunny Acres Farm. Sunny Acres took us roughly 30 minutes to drive to. Parking was close, easy, and free. Adult tickets are $10. My children (four and under) were free. Sunny Acres has a small storefront with pumpkins, baked goods, salsas, candy apples, etc. They have various vendors lined up on the short walk to the pumpkin patch. Vendors include artists, kettle corn, and other refreshments.Admission includes access to the petting zoo, bouncy house, pick your own flowers, hayride, corn hole, live music, corn maze, games, and playground. My son rode a pony for $2. The lines were either nonexistent or short. The employees (or perhaps owners?) were friendly, accommodating, and provided a family feel that other similar businesses lack. We ate a meal while we were there. We had hamburgers and hot dogs. I know they also had chili behind the storefront and various other food trucks, including ice cream and adult beverages (cocktails and craft beer). I can't think of anything Sunny Acres lacks. I'm actually afraid of word getting out and having to share this experience with too many people. But, this family farm is worth patronizing.

My family and I first encountered Sunny Acres Farm at the Jeffersontown Farmers Market last weekend. Their sausage, cheese and egg breakfast sandwich was just *chef's kiss*. Really, it was what my husband and I needed after getting up somewhat early to meet family at the market. It was made fresh at the market; we could literally see it being made in front of our eyes. And while I can't remember exactly how much it cost, I know it was pretty cheap. Sunny Acres Farm also sold jewelry and some other items via its booth. But what really drew us in was the friendly rabbit. My son is really into rabbits for the moment (last week it was dragons and before that pigs), so we were excited to show him a real-life rabbit that according to its crate is named "2.0." This rabbit was so well behaved too. It stayed on its table, no matter how many kids crowded around it. After discovering this farm at the market, I checked out its website. Turns out, the farm also offers goat yoga, a traveling barn yard and a beautiful space for field trips and other visitors. We'll have to check them out! And hope to see them again at the farmers market.

One of the best reasons to stop by the J-town Farmer's Market is a visit to Sunny Acres Farm's booth. Sitting in the back of the market they offer freshly made biscuits and other breakfast items as well as take and go food/meat/candles. The ladies working there are consistently friendly and helpful, and offer there fresh breakfast at a fair cost. Watch for them to also pop up around Louisville's other farmer markets.

Cozy and quaint little farm that my family and will sometimes hit up during the fall/autumn season to walk through pumpkin patches and do hayrides. Thai location is much smaller than say a hubers farms or Deere farms but it closer and cheaper for the Louisville residents such as my family. The younger kids will have a lot more fun as there a lot of tiny bounce houses. Older kids to tweens may run out of things to do quicker. But it is still a cute little farm that will put you in the holiday or fall spirit.

Sunny acre farm is a place that my family and I like to visit a lot of times during the fall season like most people you go get pumpkins pet the animals go through the cool little corn mazes in the different things that they offer. It is a minimal fee to park there and it is worth it though because the kids have fun I have five it is worth a lot a good photo ops so we try to check it out about once a fall
