I love this restaurant! It's a Cincinnati classic. I prefer the Blue Ash location because it's clean and spacious. The decor is so cute and retro. I love the homey feel. Service is always super quick. I've never had a bad experience with their staff. This is a great place to get a classic American breakfast! The burrito is my favorite breakfast item but they have great pancakes and bacon as well. I recently went for lunch for the first time. It was wonderful. I got the Steak Philly, it was hot the ratio of veggies to meat and cheese was perfect. My only complaint is that I would like more seasoning on the steak. The fries are Cajun. LOVED THEM. My coworker got the burger, she loved it. Lunch was a little heavy so I would recommend getting it when you have no other plans because it'll put you right to sleep.

Got to try sugar n' spice for the first with some friends! It was such a fun place with all the colors and decor. I got some biscuits and gravy and a blueberry pancake to share w my friends. They have a lot of classic diner dishes on the menu and great breakfast options. Once you get your check, they let you pick from a basket full of different rubber ducks and you get to take it home with you! A fun souvenir to remember your experience at sugar n' spice. I loved it here and I would come back again!

One of 3 locations in Cincy and probably the easiest to get a table. Old school diner vibes with big plates and reasonable prices. Had the breakfast platter which was solid and chocolate chip pancakes on the side. Pancakes are advertised as thin and wispy and they sure are, kinda crepe-like. Nice and light to go along with a big breakfast plate

I have heard so many good reviews on this place and I was very disappointed. The food was not what I expected hand overpriced. The service was great and the facility was fantastic and very clean, but the food which is what I want for, but not at all to my liking.I will not be going back !

Ordered takeout and received it quickly and correctly. Love the location and the ample parking in the area. I would like to eat in, the driver is beautiful and up to date with a nostalgic feel. Price point felt higher than the other locations for some reason, but could just be that I haven't ordered from Reading in awhile.

I guess we all the nursery rhyme about "Sugar and Spice and everything nice!" One of my favorite things is a hearty breakfast - The Blue Ash location is nestled between some commercial space and some new apartments - a cozy location where you're greeted with a warm smile and bright decor - our server was great - she was prompt with the coffee refills and managed the breakfast crowd with a smile - the menu has a little of everything for you to choose from - the pancakes are light and thin - almost crepe like - I ordered the corned beef hash and egg breakfast - the eggs a perfect over easy resting on a crispy, flavorful bed of corned beef - a great way to start your day! This is a can't go wrong destination if you're itching for a hearty breakfast to start your day!

This restaurant has always been on our list to try! As much as I hate to say it, it was just meh. Not very good at all. We left disappointed to say the least. The good... the restaurant, it was very clean, colorful and the staff weee great. The bad: food. We got the chicken and waffles, pancakes, biscuit and gravy and a breakfast sandwich. I also ordered grits that never made it to the table. But they were too busy for me to even make it. Biscuits and gravy... the gravy was alright, the biscuit was so dry the gravy didn't even help. Had to wash it down with water each bite. The breakfast potatoes were just potatoes, nothing special. The chicken and waffle: the chicken was hard and over cooked, I am 99% sure it was just frozen chicken tenders and the waffle was so hard syrup didn't even help soften it up. The chocolate chip pancakes: were decent. But the pancakes are paper thin. So there are no chocolate chips in the pancakes. My daughter ate all of the pancakesI did not try the breakfast sandwich but my wife said it was okay. Would have liked to see a sauce or something on it she said. We may try this place again some time but if we did, I would not get breakfast food. I'd try the sandwiches or something.

Such a cute vibe! I loved it from the moment we walked into restaurant. The fun, colorful , cartoon filled walls gives this place an upscale yet old fashioned DINER vibe, even though it's casual. We went to the new location in Summit Park in Blue Ash . Our waiter was really great! he gave us so many good recommendations and tips and was right because we loved what we ordered . I took my sister for brunch for her birthday and we started off with a beautiful *mimosa that he recommended. I can't remember the name of it. It was all the colors of the sunset and it tasted delicious too! I prefer lunch so I got the *Reuben and substituted turkey for the pastrami. Our waiter suggested that I have them put a little bit of pastrami in it for flavor and boy didn't make a difference! It was one of the best I've ever had , he also suggested we pay the extra two dollars to get the fries, so we did and they were the first things gone off our plate! My Sister is a big breakfast eater, so he recommended the *Mexican omelette for her. he explained the chef was from Guatemala and uses all kinds of spices in her recipe. Of course, being a foodie, I had to have a bite and try to figure out the spices! Taste nutmeg and taco/chili seasonings! I'm sure there's more but those are the two I could identify, made her omelette very unique. This restaurant is known for their wispy pancakes, but our server also gave us the tip that he actually preferred their *French toast with pecans and maple syrup. We decided to order a small side of that as our dessert! Another thing that makes this place special is that they bring a basket of ducks! Yes, little rubber duckies for you to choose which one you identify with, that you can keep and bring home! Everybody loves a gift right?! My sister stuck hers on the dashboard of the car and it's very cute . Hopefully every time she looks at that , she'll remember our brunch together for her birthday!

Sugar n' Spice Diner is taking over! I've been to the original a few times. I haven't been to the Diner and we made one stop here. It's a cute place, to be sure, and I love the ducks. The food, however, is just OK. We've never had anything bad, but really... it's just OK. This location was super convenient post cataract surgery. I had it scoped out and we knew this was where we wanted to go. Our waitress was super nice and service was great. The food was standard diner food.

The restaurant was very colorful and fun to see. I ordered the turkey Reuben and it was very good. The French fries were crispy and good. My husband had the Corned beef Reuben and enjoyed it as well. Our server was quick to check on us and the food came out promptly. The basket of rubber ducks were outright entertaining for us! Parking is at a nearby flat lot. The restroom left a bit to be desired as there were paper towel scraps all over the floor and the soap dispenser was empty.
