This bakery was amazing!! I needed a cake last minute and the design was above and beyond. The cake itself was delicious as well! Very affordable and creative design. Would recommend 10/10

Sugar diva bakery and cafe is a Latino owned establishment off Preston Highway in the okolona community of Lousiville Kentucky. The establishment is mainly desserts but do offer things such as queso pizza. On my visit I had a tough time choosing which tasty looking dessert to indulge in. All the pieces were so large and well priced. I ultimately went with a cannoli that was banana pudding filled and a queso pizza since I'm a pizza fanatic. The setup in here is pretty tiny. It is mainly a counter with your pre made ready dessert options and a small table. The worker here did not speak any English but through Google translate she took care of us. She was very friendly, patient and had a constant smile. The cannoli was very good! Great flavor and so tasty! The pizza was very cheesy and featured no sauce at all. It was just ok. Nothing that I would have to try again. However I am excited to come back and try some more of the tasty looking desserts. Overall cool shop with some yummy options. A good fit for the okolona community that has a large Latino population. I will absolutely come back again to sample more pastries and desserts.

Worst cake and worst service by the black guy that gave me my cake !!Nasty cake waste of 160$ Was supposed to be ready by 4pm they gave it to me at 5pm had to wait for another's hour because they didn't have ready. The guy was extrude told me that a week was a too late for em to make the cake.I don't know why on earth they would accept my order then. Should of had just said sorry we can't accept it anymore, but no .And the worst is he didn't even apologize he was careless and super rude !! Felt disgusted !!

I make a point of supporting local small businesses to find special hidden gems and also support the community. This is a small place and the selection seemed limited as well. I did come in the afternoon, my wife I ordered several items and both felt it was a let down. My wife said it best, tasted like something you could make at home yourself. Do yourself a favor, the bottom line if you need something sweet, try it. Just don't expect something amazing.

This little bakery was a much needed addition to the area. Its a small bakery with big flavor! The selection varies but my husband had a bad craving for Napoleon and I knew they had it from word of mouth around town. The ladies who work there were really friendly and helped pick out the cake and we got eclairs as well for our kiddos. The napoleon was perfectly crispy and the custard and cream was divine. The eclairs were some of the best I've had and my kiddos devoured them! Can't wait to go back soon and support this local place. The prices are amazing as well. Everything is typically under $5. My whole order was about $6 total! You can't get a better deal than that for fresh bakery items. Cant wait to try their cakes as well! Welp after I wrote this my husband came home and surprised me with more goodies! We had 2 gigantic cakes (one tres leches and other tiramisu both for $4.50 a piece) and a box of yummies with cake something called a diplomatico and their millie. The box with 3 different things and the two cakes were under $20!!

We ordered several items to try and all of them were good. Would like to come back earlier in the day when there is a greater selection.

Llame una semana antes para pedir el cake y me respondieron que se debía avisar un día antes , así lo hice ... , llame el día antes ,confirmé la orden y el día del cumpleaños el cake no estaba listo!!!!! ( no lo ordene el día antes, llame con tiempo ) y aún sigo esperando ......

Great tres leches cake and the white buttercream was delicious as well! Very friendly service. Will eat there again.

This place is absolutely amazing!! So we live in Taylorsville ky we just so happen to stop small little place(we love hidden jems) we got two slices of tres leche cake and o my it was the best i have ever had !! We were so impressed we went back the following sunday!! This time we got the cake but also the macaroons and let me say they were also the best i have had i cant wait to see what my husband and i get next time im actually like a kid who cant wait lol keep up the great work!!
