Sugar Creek Barbeque

We were disappointed to find out the restaurant was only offering take out meals. I had the sausage plate. The sausage was okay. The Mac and cheese was creamy and the onion rings were spot on. My husband had the brisket, baked beans, and fries. The fries were fascinating. They were so thin. We both had the corn bread. It was sweet and fluffy. Overall the meal was tasty, but we were disappointed that some of the sides were not available, such as the coleslaw. Coleslaw is a BBQ staple.

HOURS ARE INCORRECT... as of 04/13/23 hours posted on biz door: M-Th closed, Fri & Sat 11-8pm, Sun 11-3pm. Cannot give a true star rating bc they were not open, but this won't post otherwise, so I will adjust the 5 star (if needed) after I eat there tomorrow. I feel bad for the couple of motorcyclists who rode up from KY to eat there; hope they are staying overnight & can try again, too.

Not open, ever! Love the food, but missed going there since we were in for 4 days they were closed: Sunday night-Wednesday.

The food was really good wood with great service from wonderwoman, and nice country atmosphere for. Definitely recommend if you are in brown county for lunch. Get the Texas nachos

Food was very good, the first day I got the smash burger and it was very good fries were pretty decent. The second day I ordered the Texas nachos and split with two of my friends. Great value and good service. Good ambiance and vibe. Will come back next year!

Food was smackin. Meats didn't come tasting like old meat they didn't want to get rid of like many of the other Indiana bbq spots I have been to. The sides were just as good as the meats. Kind service and cozy atmosphere. Very cheap as far as bbq goes. Plate pictured was around 15.50

The 1 time Ive eaten here the food was excellent. Good service, ordering take out from the counter. The only problem is the hours. They say theyre open Wednesday through Sunday. Well this Sunday my husband went for a carry out order. They are supposed to be open till 3 pm. He got there probably 20 minutes before they were supposed to close. He was turned away and told they were closed due to not having a server. There were 2 women behind the counter and the cook was also there. I hope they do well with their catering services because inconsistancy in the restaurant biz will kill it quicker than anything. Just an fyi, they havent closed they moved from the Gnawbone location to the Salt Creek Plaza in Nashville. Its now located in the same building as Family Dollar, behind the new smoke shop (formerly Pine Room Tavern).

Came here to try for the first time and was unfortunately disappointed. The place was super busy and had 2 people working the front. We waited 40 minutes for our food, and it came out ice cold. I don't care if we waited and the food was hot. I would've been okay with that because of how busy they were. But to not check the food before giving it to us and it being ice cold just really sucked. The staff was friendly though.

Pork was so dry I couldn't eat it even with BBQ sauce on it. Sides were good, Service was good. They weren't busy at all, I'm hoping we just caught them on a bad day. They do not have any alcohol, not even beer.

Ribs as good as any in Memphis. Brisket as good as any in Houston. The walls are covered with fun sayings. The table set to honor missing service men is a constant reminder of how we should honor each other.
