Stoll's Lakeview Restaurant

I have been to this Amish Buffet a couple of times and I enjoy the scenery and the people. It can be slightly crowded at times but it's more of a tight knitted town with middle aged to older men and women which gives a more peaceful, calm vibe. The service is always amazing with the constant small talk yet remaining small not bothersome along with constant refills. The food isn't bad! The fried chicken and livers, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and the desserts were all very tasty with a large variety. I drove an hour and 20 minutes which should tell you something about my recommendation. Again, look at that VIEW. There is also a golf course next door so you can play a round after eating.

I've only taken a piece of pie out and didn't dine in.Pros: friendly, homey, inexpensive, easy parking, big dining hall.Cons: pie filling was watery, there were flies in the dining hall, restroom isn't clean and somewhat smells

Very good home cooked meal. Lots of options to choose from. Baked breads, main entrees and vegetables all very good. Desserts were one of the best parts of the meal.

This buffet was worth the 100+ miles to get there. The Amish people are so friendly and cook delicious food! We were there on Saturday which turns out to be the best day to go.... the roast beef was melt-in- your-mouth phenomenally delicious! But then so was the fried chicken, noodles, green beans, salad bar including beets(yum). I enjoyed the best bread ever, too, with delicious apple butter Had to go back for more of that! It's hard to save room for dessert but you must try everything! The cherry pie had popping fresh cherries. The chocolate cream pie was delicious. The cookies were some of the best I've ever had. The scenery at the restaurant is so pretty. There are picnic tables and shelters. But there are no docks for the boats so you'd be best off driving there. It's definitely worth the trip. The service was unbeatable... they were all so helpful and great.

We've lived in Indiana for 2 years & just found out about Stoll's. We had company, from out of town, and we took them out to lunch. The buffet was excellent. Everything from salads to fried chicken, mashed potatoes & cream gravy, were outstanding! And, the rolls!!! Oh my! We took a dozen home with us, they were so great.We will definitely come back!! The view of the water is very pretty and we're from Seattle, where we had water views almost every where, so, seeing a body of water was a bonus for us!

Nice view of lake while you eat! Food is decent and restaurant is clean and has pies and other things for sale.

The staff are all excellent and the food is so good , we go to French Lick a few times a year and this is one restaurant that's worth the drive ! There fried chicken is so yummy along with everything they make ! If you leave this place hungry it's your own fault ! (Real) Ice cream and pies for deserts ! Don't forget a golf course is right next door , Lakeview Golf course . Girls can hit shops while guys golf and meet for Dinner !

This is a long standing Resturant on Boggs Lake. It has a large parking lot and a nice little walking path down along the water where you can enjoy the beautiful landscaping and views of the water. This place is known for their Amish style cooking. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. I was here for breakfast and enjoyed it. They have the usual scrambled eggs, biscuits, hash browns, sausage gravy, bacon, sausage links, pancakes with warm maple syrup, French toast made with homemade bread as well as a few other items. Overall a great place to come and get a good breakfast if you are in the area.

Been a while since we've been there. I took my wife for a meal. Food quality has went downhill, mediocre even. Service was also mediocre. Waitress waited until we were ready to leave before asking about drink refills. She was more interested in talking with the other Amish girls. Instead of a refill, I asked for some good coffee. Brought me a watered down very unpalatable cup, and then charged me $2.50 for it. There really is no reason for us to go back again. Forgot to mention we were seated by the restrooms - not the most pleasant seat in the house.

I live local so it's convenient for me and my family to go there and eat and yes Martha the owner is very nice and the food is very good. I am a breakfast fan so I love the breakfast on Saturday mornings. My wife loves the dinner so my son gets the best of both worlds And recommend it's very good. Nice view. Nice environment good food good people.
