This was my first time experiencing a play at Stage One and I really enjoyed myself. Here to see The best Christmas pageant courtesy of the Yelp Squad, this was a great compliment to the holiday season. The seating is general admission. My personal opinion, I think sections A&B as well as E&F offer some of the better viewing options. Seating is first come, first serve so if you'd like a closer seat get there a smidge early. There are refreshments you can buy prior to the show and take them with you inside the theater. Overall, the play was great, staff helpful, and the experience just amazing. Parking is up to you as far as where you decide. If you park in the garage below the theater it's about $10. There is also street parking with meters. I opted to park about a 1/2block away and paid $5. I definitely will be on the lookout for future plays to come see and make a trip back!

Recently went here to chaperone my oldest daughters field trip to see "the best Christmas pageant ever". Very big and clean place. All the workers were very courteous and helpful. The theatre seating was very spacious and comfortable. They do have a below ground parking garage that you print a ticket than pay depending how long you stay. $10 for all dat parking. The show was entertaining and my daughter absolutely loved it. She is already asking when we can come back to see another show.

After seeing an advertisement for Stage One's Frog & Toad, I opted to purchase a Family Membership. For $125, you receive 12-months of full access to their (4) live performances, (4) movies and (4) Story Teller shows. I have a 10 & 5 year old. We have had season tickets to Derby Dinner Playhouse for years but this is a different experience. Performances are held at the Kentucky Center in the Bomhard Theatre. It has several rows and all angles are good for seeing the stage. Seats are general admission. Today's performance was an upbeat musical. The set was colorful and the talent was excellent, especially considering they were playing animal characters and some played multiple characters. After the performance, the actors come out for pictures and autographs. Even better, workers are there to ensure every child has a program to get signed. This is a great reason to get out of the house, enjoy theatre and hang out downtown for shopping and eating afterwards. Nice work Stage One! Can't wait for the next performance.
