"Not bad" was our feeling. No smokiness.Mashed potatoes seemed like instant. Banana pudding seemed like a mix.Best part was the friendly and helpful staff.Sorry, but there is significantly better BBQ around.

I could not recommend more. Really interesting and unique foods made with BBQ. Lots and lots of options--all good. King and helpful staff! I want to keep this one a secret for my own self and family but it should be shared.

We were looking for BBQ in the bowling green area and ran across this place. This was down Scottsville road heading out of town. We had BBQ with a corn cake and it was excellent. The sides we ordered for the meal were potato salad and green beans that were tasty. The best thing was the desert a hot peach cobbler with ice cream on top. This desert was so tasty. The decor in the place was very interesting with animal horns, fish, UK items, antique tools, etc. We used our yelp and got a free ice tea.

We had supper here as it was on the way to our destination. The chopped pork plate with 2 sides for 9.45. The meat had a good flavor and went well with the sweet dark sauce and the red vinegar sauce. The sides were ok. The corn cakes were excellent. I can highly recommend peach cobbler with ice cream. Check in on yelp app for a free drink !!

The environment of this place is great, big inviting picnic tables, coloring books and crayons for kids, etc. My alarms went off when I realized I didn't see a bbq pit outside, but maybe they bring it in from another place? My wife's pulled chicken legitimately smelt like urine. Hamster urine to be specific if you grew up with that pet you know what I'm talking about. I paid $20 for a brisket plate and it had no flavor, no evidence of smoke, no evidence of even salt or pepper. It honestly tasted like crock pot chuck roast. The sides were ok, but nothing to write home about. I'd soon rather set my $50 on fire than go back to that place. A shame they call themselves a bbq place.

Ribs were like biting into a hose, sauce was as if it had been glued on. All meat was stone cold. Staff and ambiance were nice but the main attraction was beyond disappointing.

i got to the restaurant today at 12:32 pm with only three others in front of me. When I finally got my food it was 1:07pm. I asked the girl that gave me my food if it always took this long and she said not usually but they were really busy. 32 minutes seems like a long time to get three people their food and that doesn't seem "busy". No apology for the wait either. I think I would've took it better if there was an apology. I'm all about supporting local, but don't think I will be back! Do not recommend if you are looking to get a quick bite. My food was also cold and not a very good portion for what I paid.

my husband brought me home some food from split tree and im normally not a fan of bbq anything but their bbq food was so good! I can't wait to actually visit the restaurant and eat some day!

Nice place , nice people, good price, great barbecue, my favorite is the amazing smoke bologna sandwich add cheese and onion. Try it you won't be sorry.
