Spillway Bar & Grill

This was advertised in the restaurant section of a visitors guide. It was listed as "family friendly". This is CLEARLY a bar -- dark, loud music, pool table, etc. The food was okay. If we had more time, we would have left, but we were in a hurry due to travel.

My husband and I come here often, Saturday night they always have live music, and tonight's entertainment is the best we've heard so far. Tommy Womack opened and he was good and very funny. I just about fell out of my chair when he sang the old Helen Reddy tune "I am woman"! Next up is Tyrone Dunn and Kin-foke and they are fabulous! I'll be keeping my eye out for their next show! Thanks, Spillway, for always bringing us good entertainment.

My acoustic group LazyDaze played here last night(08/19/22).., thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Great staff and attention to every detail. Came today ( the next day) and got take out! Delicious..!!

Very friendly staff, comfortable environment. Would definitely recommend and will be for sure coming back.

Never went here before we heard how great the wings were-so we drove out and noticed it wasn't so busy walked in saw four different tables with men watching the game on the big screen TVs. We weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves order at the bar or what the bartender gave us a dirty look when we walked in turned her back on us and picked up her cell phone and I heard her say " hey girl you got a minute?" So we walked over by the tables you can tell we weren't regulars we've never been there -we ended up walking back out -she never acknowledged us - didn't know what to do -so we will never be back too bad I heard their wings were just like New York wings but it's a dump ( nothing like a friendly picture you see when you go to their website!)

Horrible service. Stopped by at 12:05 to grab a beer and lunch. Beer was cold and prompt. An hour later we finally got our food. Never knew it took an hour to make a burger and bologna sandwich. If you're in BG, avoid this place.

Rude. I am not sure just what is going on with the Spillway. I go there regularly to eat or pick up a to go order. In the past I have been treated great. I know all the people that had worked there is not there anymore. I knew most of them by name. They may of had a change in management I am not sure. I was still treated rudely when I called a pick up order in. I was told to wait a minute. She laid the phone down and didn't come back. Then she hung up the phone. I called back and told her I still wanted to place a order. She talked very rude to me. She said they couldn't do my order until they served everyone there. She said she could take my order but didn't know when someone would get to it. I let her know that I was confused that was not how it was done in the past. I let her know that I had ordered from there numerous times before with no problems. She said that they were not suppose to answer the phone while they were serving people inside. But answered it to keep it from ringing and ringing. I told her I guess they were short staffed. She said in a very hateful voice that they had plenty of help. I just hung up I wasn't going to be talked to so hateful like I had inconvenienced her. Their chicken wings is what I liked the best. I wish you good luck if you decide to go there. Hopefully you will not get the rude girl I talked to.

This bar has some of the best service from some of the nicest staff. The food was great and the drinks were even better. Such a fun bar to go to with a big group. Will absolutely be returning!!

Recently reopened (check hours) since C-19. Newly remodeled ... they've added bar height tables. Even though it's a bar / grill it's a great family atmosphere and service is good. Best buffalo wings in town ... catfish and very cold beer!

I decided to give spillway a try after hearing good things about their wings. I ordered 20 of them with 4 different sauces. She told me that was allowed so I didn't think anything of it. Instead of charging me for 20 wings, they charged me for 4, 5 piece wings, which ended up costing 50% more. I called to ask why I was charged more and I was told they have to do that because it requires so much extra work from their staff. I've never heard of a place including a "cost of labor" fee for dipping wings, but apparently they do. i was told on the phone it was okay, but they never mentioned they were charging me more to do it. Not a good first experience.
