Too bad the food is not as good as the atmosphere. Only have been here once but need to give it another try as the location is so cool!! We went w a party of 6. Waitress was great. Food needs to be better for this place to survive

they don't take reservations on Friday and Saturday but let me make one and then had to wait 2 hours! ridiculous

The views from this place are impressive. The decor is nice, the drink offerings are nice. That being said, our bartender had the personality of a cactus. I can't say that I ever want to go back, after spending $120 on drinks and being treated like my existence is an irritation to the staff. My wife and I were very pleasant and courteous the whole time we were there. That was not reciprocated. We were treated WAY better at Zim's Cafe.

I visited Skybar after a basketball game on a Saturday early evening because I was curious what a Skybar in Lexington would be like. It wasn't fancy like I had been expecting, but offered nice views of Lexington. Had a really nice time car-watching up there and I don't know if it was just me, but a bunch of them looked like stretch cars from the angle. They had a tv and 3 private rooms, which were all empty at the time and they offered really great happy hour deals. We got 2 drinks for about $7. I think during the nighttime Skybar becomes a dance bar/club of sorts (based on the sticky floor) and I imagine it's a really fun place for that purpose. The bartender and gentleman who helped us on the elevator were both very friendly. If you're looking for inexpensive drinks with a cool view in the afternoon, I'd certainly recommend it.

Living in downtown has its many perks, one of which is this establishment! Skybar is exactly what its name lives up to be, a bar in the "sky" or better yet, one of the best views of downtown Lexington. Truly a gem because one can find themselves coming here for happy hour earlier in the day (awesome specials) or if you're into the nightlife scene, nights here are meant for your highest heels/dancing shoes. The DJ is fantastic, playing your chart toppers and if you've missed your cardio session for the week or have already broken that New Years resolution to work out, then the dance floor near the DJ booth is where you're gonna wanna be! Drinks are well priced and they have private rooms (& bottle service!!), which I thought was a nice touch if you wanted more privacy to chat with your friends, etc. The place is classy with a touch of luxury and I've always had a great time here!

We were waking by and saw their happy hour sign out front. We're typically not into a place like this but we figured that we can check it out while it's fairly empty. We got there around 4pm and were 2 of 6 people there. $2.75 for a domestic bottle is a really good price for a downtown Lexington bar. We didn't stay to long and the bartender was nice. They did have several TVs with sports on. The floor was sticky...

Skybar, I fractured my wrist on their sticky, slippery wet floors. Not fun!

My boyfriend and I went on a lunch date at the sky bar. I ordered the watermelon and tomato salad, my boyfriend ordered the burger with fries. The burger was fine, super greasy, nothing exceptional. The fries were really good! My salad only had one tiny cube of watermelon and the croutons were too dry and too buttery. Did I mention this salad was $12? We definitely will not be visiting again.

It use to be the place to go, but now the DJ isn't that good, he hardly takes requests , if he does , he plays them for like 45 seconds, they play to much rap music, straight gangster rap, which attracts that type of clientele, I saw a guy dancing with a bunch of gold chains, gold teeth , sunglasses and a fur coat...it's hard to find a good decent club now and days to go out with your wife too. Really need a dress code, different music.

service is awesome, once you finally get in. the bouncers are the biggest douchebags ever it's so irritating. literally i could do a better job. fire they asssssss
