Sichuan Garden

Placed take out order... arrived to get it. Was no order ready. No response after standing around waiting for over an hour and a half. Just felt wrong after watching others come in and get service and food. Third time we've come back after our initial visit and have tried to eat food from here. So can't speak on the food cause we can't seem to get them to feed us. The service... looks and glances and oh okay be right with you is it. Luckily filing a dispute with the bank is easier than watching everyone else get to order and eat or take their food out the door to go home and eat.

Arguably the best Chinese food in Louisville. Came for Christmas dinner and everything we tried was delicious!

We wanted a dining in experience for Chinese and chose Sichuan Garden, a long standing restaurant in Louisville. Its space looks the same as it did years ago. I'd forgotten how big the restaurant is, and noticed a side room that would be ideal for a private parties. I enjoyed my wonton soup and sweet & sour chicken. My family said good things about their egg drop soup. However, they were not as excited about their orange chicken or empress pork. Even though they requested it as mild it had a kick to it. Service was fast and attentive, and it was obvious they have regulars at the restaurant. I'd come back, especially for lunch with co-workers.

Ambiance still hasn't changed... but the food and staff is the same... THE BEST! Went for NYE and did the family of 5 special on the back of the menu and it was great.

The food is very good! Top three in Louisville.The vibe is chill and usually not too busy. It's almost eerily chill as they don't play much music,But again the food is very fresh and they have their own house made sauces

The food was so so... I did not like to be charged an extra $5.00 ($2.50 for each of us) for a small bowl of brown rice for me and hubby; especially when the food comes with the rice. Service was okay. The ambiance was not inviting at all, no music, and it looked very disorganized. Also, when we told them it was our first time here - it was like okay - whatever kind of thing! I like it when I go to any establishments and share with them "It is our first time here" I like them to say "Welcome" and "We would like to offer you a soft drink or dessert complimentary for trying our Restaurant for the first time". This will leave a lasting impression on customers and it is better than any advertisement.

This place has been a go to place for decades. I am hooked on two dishes (that all I have tried here), Mongolian beef or generals chicken dish. The food is plentiful, fresh, and hot. Fried rice and egg roll to go with every order. They cook with passion here, the food is exceptional. The customer service is top notch and they are very friendly and professional. If you have never tried it, go ahead and treat yourself. They strive to make feel special and top priority here.Next time I order take out here, I will try something new. They have a large menu, so indulge.

I've been looking for a great Chinese restaurant since moving from Atlanta back home to Louisville, I've found it! Fantastic food, full-service kind wait staff at a reasonable price with large portions. Best Chinese I've tasted in Louisville!The dining room is very cosey, lit just right, carpeted and overall, a very pleasant experience. Broad menu selection. I've ate here twice and the food is excellent!!!

Best Chinese food in town. I've been waiting for an authentic Chinese food joint and this reminds me of home.
