Ordered a Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box. Got it for lunch so this is a take out review. They weren't terribly busy when I ordered close to opening time. But the restaurant looked very clean and had a good vibe albeit a bit on the darker side. The staff when I went to pick it up were very friendly! From what seemed to be the host in the front to the chefs who packed my food everyone spoke and said hello and enjoy. The food was delicious! Everything had a great flavor that was enhanced by the sauces provided. My bento box came with fried rice, spring rolls, house salad, and roasted veggies. Also really great portion sizes for the price. I was able to get two lunches from what I had. Definitely will visit again!

Had the portobello chicken it was as dry as dirt needed a chainsaw to cut it had a toupee of cheese with a thin slice of mushroom and 2 noodle like asparagus It was awful

Pork belly was a huge disappointment! Not the tender, juicy-looking pork slices as in their photo, but instead, dry, over-cooked slices that just looked like thick-sliced bacon with shoe-leather consistency. The meaty parts were literally inedible (think tree bark) and the fatty parts were dry and hard. Total waste of $9 except for the lesson learned.

Had a birthday dinner with my family here on a Thursday. What made the experience truly special was our chef, Jonathon! When he greeted the table and started cooking, it was obvious he enjoys what he's doing. While eating with him, we found out he's been with this restaurant for 11 years! And it shows! I can't tell you enough how good the food he prepared was. It's different when someone with a passion for food serves you. Recommending this hibachi grill solely because of him. We will be back again soon and requesting Jonathon!

The food was very good, portions were good for the price. I did not enjoy sitting at the table with others and having my food cooked in front of me. I know that's part of the experience but it wasn't for me. Nothing wrong with it and the cook was nice, I just don't want to be that close with others. This was more for my wife. But the food was amazing and the sushi was incredible.

The worst hibachi I have eaten, ever. The Soup was a hot water broth with no flavor. The Salad was decent quality, but the dressing was made of pure mayonnaise with no ginger or seasonings. The stir-fried rice was undercooked and hard with little to no seasoning at all. The vegetables were frozen and cooked up soft/mushy. The chicken, although cooked well, lacked flavor, and had to be completely doused in teriyaki sauce to give if flavor. Our family favorite of perfect yum yum sauce has downgraded to cheap mayo with a touch of spice. Despicable. Overall: terrible food. Ambience was rushed and there was no entertainment or interaction (for children) at the grill, like a normal hibachi. When this Shogun opened years ago it was our very favorite place to dine when we had guests or special days. We will not be going back, ever.

Use to be the best hibachi around last time cook was in a hurry took him maybe 5 minutes to cook our food to no surprise it really sucked it'll be a long while before I visit again may never go back

Every time I come here I am so impressed. I never get tired of the hibachi grill and watching them do cool trickswhile making your food in front of you. The chefs are always interacting with you and will sometimes let you get the chance to catch something in your mouth. The food is amazing and the yum yum sauce is a must! You're definitely getting what you pay!
