Long Distance Baby Review Time: Sherri's Cafe Welcome to the beautiful hills of Kentucky. On our way to Pikeville, I found this off the beaten path, hometown, country cooking diner. It may not seem much from the outside, nor your 5 diamond dining experience, but you will get some of the best fresh country cooking of your life here!!!We both indulged in the special today, which was phenomenal chicken and dumplings, buttery mashed potatoes, delicious bacon green beans, and (prep for thanksgiving) wonderful dressing. Overall review: 210% worth the detour for these sweet southern ladies country cooking...by the way all of this with tip for $25...what a steal!!! we just may even stop by Saturday, in the am, before we leave for breakfast...

Sherri's Cafe is a super cute little spot located across the road from the old Sky View Drive-In on Winchester Road between Lexington and Winchester. Their food here is to die for. They are great burgers, fries, and breakfasts. I can't make myself not order burger and fries when I am there because they are both so good. The prices are super cheap and the portions are huge. If they are not in a meal rush at the time the owners will chat you up. They are 2 great gals.I stop in and support them often. They are a diamond in the rough I swear. Stop in and see them. Order you a burger and sit down with them for a great breakfast. I bet it won't be the last time you stop in. Support local gang.

Really tasty food in a little market. Fresh, delicious burgers. Crinkle fries and other yummy stuff. Don't drive too fast or you will pass it. Kind people.

What a friendly place! We stopped at Sherri's Cafe after a tour of the Ale-8-1 factory in Winchester. The place was full of friendly locals. We ordered a cheeseburger, a double cheese burger and an order of fries. The food was delicious! And y'all, it only cost $15.00 for all that. Highly recommend!

Nice diner type grocery. Hamburgers fried bologna, chili cheese dogs and the like. Country store vibe. Not fancy but we had some good cheeseburgers. Lots of locals.
