Schmitt's Florist

So happy I bought flowers from Schmitt's! We came in from out of town (New York----not the city) for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Associations national meeting and had planned a secret ceremony for a wonderful couple. I called and asked for a small wedding bouquet of wildflowers for around $30 and, boy, did they deliver! The bride was so happy!

My absolute favorite florist in town, particularly for deliveries. Awesome customer service. Great value. Always reliable. I use them for special occasions. Beautiful, fresh flowers. Never disappointed.

I ordered a sympathy arrangement for a friend whose Dad just passed away. I am not from Louisville so I called Schmitt's Florist and spoke with a friendly lady with the sweetest voice named Tammy. I explained her my situation and told her what my budget was! All she said was she was going to take great care of me and that's exactly what she did!!My friend was very pleased to receive her arrangement. Will do business again and would highly recommend their services.

Sent red roses as an expression of love to my Sweetheart's place of work all the way from California. She had been working hard (overworked / undervalued). I gave simple instructions to deliver directly to the Store Manager. They were left at the counter for all the employees to read her personalized card before she could get to! This would make it an easy 4 - star review. Had I not seen with my eyes the most beautiful red roses I seen via a picture still beautifully standing straight up in person.

My husband picked up arrangement at the shop. He said people were nice and the place was bustling. I'm very happy with the variety of flowers used.

I haven't used Schmitt's Florist in a while but I wanted to provide a review that is quite long overdo. One of my friends I used to work with over a decade ago passed away suddenly. After collecting money from all of our friends. I went to Yelp and selected Schmitt's. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly and after explaining that I didn't know what I wanted, the receptionist returned with one of the designers. We had a very detailed conversation where she got to know the person we were laying to rest. Afterwards, she went downstairs and created two beautiful extremely large white bouquets. The creations where all her idea and I believe I was still in shock and was unable to make any decisions. Due to the very short notice I was unable to have them delivered but they helped me pack them into my car with extra insulation so they would not wither as it was freezing cold outside and one had a plant that our friend's mother could repot. The flowers spent the night in my home and the next morning I transported them to the church in the freezing cold. The flower looked as if they had just been done and they were beautiful! Our friends mother loved them and keep the plant as a tribute to all of us who loved her son. I was very thankful for Schmitt's love and care!

So I came by the florist at 3:47 PM on Friday August, 2nd. I tried to make it before the shop closed at 4:00 to get flowers for my son's teachers. I knocked on the door and the employees inside saw me and heard me knocking but acted as if they didn't. Then they all came out to get in their cars and didn't even acknowledge me or have the courtesy to say we're closed early today or anything like that. I won't come back or recommend anyone in my circle to come back. It was just unkind and unexpected, especially for a florist.

Had a bit of confusion on delivery but once resloved they were quickly delivery. My girl was over the moon over the flowers. Said they look like what you order but never get. Thank you for marking her birthday.

I ordered flowers for my sister's 50th birthday, and they did an excellent job! She's extremely happy with them and we are too! They arrived early in the day and we're exactly as requested. I'll definitely use them again. I think I spoke to Nancy on the phone and she was great!

I ordered 50 long stem red roses for our 50th wedding anniversary. They were delivered as instructed. But the most important thing was how they looked and impressed my wife. They were in 2 vases as instructed and were the most beautiful red roses we had ever seen. They had the biggest buds we had ever seen mixed with baby breath and a large red ribbon. Gorgeous!
