I ordered the Masala Tea really recomend it! I also had the Goat curry, the dosas, my daughthers had the chicken hakka noodles that were super tasty. The chocolate shakes were so good. Food was brought in within 5 mins of placing the order and the inside felt still cold. Seemed like it was just heated up and brought out. Taste was decent but the ambience felt unclean including the servers. Fell sick in my stomach for days afterwards. Never coming back again!

The food here is so good, I can't even explain!!! The menu is from several regions in India so the food is different in some ways than other Indian restaurants because of the choices that are offered. So hard to decide but finally we did. We started with a sweet corn soup. The flavors that jump out from this soup are amazing! The herbs and spices are amazing and soooo flavorful! We ordered a chicken noodle dish. We were warned that the sechwan would be pretty spicy so we went with the noodles that weren't spicy. Not disappointed. Stirfried noodles either tandoori chicken and vegetables. Very fresh and crunchy. Yum. Next we went traditional with Chicken Tikka Masala because I love it so much! And another curry chicken dish that was slightly more spicy. Of course the garlic naan was in the menu to soak up all those yummy sauces! It's a bit of a drive from our house but we will be back soon!!!

First time eating Indian food. My son explained menu. Restaurant interior very nice, big, and clean. I opted for veggie pizza. Very tasty but way too much cheese for me. Son ordered chicken with spinach dish. He said best he's ever eaten in Louisville. Grandson ordered butter chicken. He really liked also. I tasted sauce of both and would get it next time. They didn't specify degree of heat. I would say take it down a notch for me. The drinks in case looked like coconut or mango. We ordered naan bread...garlic and cheese. Very fresh, warm and tasty. I ordered can of coke. Lots of beer choices. Not sure if is custom but multiple silverware was in basket on table. I could not get out without touching prongs and spoons that others would use. Not a fan of that!! We went early. Before we left, there were at least 25 other customers of Indian descent. That tells me food is high quality. Enjoyed. Will return.

I tried take out from Sankalp today via Uber Eats. Firstly, upon walking in to pick up my order, I noticed how large the restaurant actually is and took note of how clean it was inside. I ordered the Navratran Korma, Butter Chicken, Veg Hakka Noodles, and Garlic Naan all medium spiced. Everything was absolutely delicious!! The food was packed with flavor and not overly greasy. I was most impressed with the cook of the chicken in the butter chicken - absolutely incredible. The garlic naan was a good size portion. Both chicken and korma came with rice also! Korma was very good, highly recommend for a satisfying vegetarian dish. Hakka noodles were pretty good as well! I was definitely impressed with this place and will plan to go back again and try more items on the menu!

I visited this restaurant while I was down in Louisville. This place was recommended by someone who is local here. We ordered some Indo-Chinese food to try out. The overall quality of food was below average. The customer service sucks at this place. It took them 30-35 minutes to serve us even though there were only two other customers present. The ambiance is okayish. The tables and silverware were unclean.

Food:The garlic naan (qty:4) was the best. Warm and flavorful.I believe the chicken malai tikka was the dish that had the curry rice and chicken baked in a dish that had a dough covering over it. I was a bit surprised how dry the dish was. However, it was fun breaking through the dough. The traditional doza (crispy rice and lentils crêpe) appetizer with the various sauces was interesting to pull apart and dip into the sauces. The Kadai Chicken was good and the spices were great. They give you a good helping of rice but I still needed to order another to finish the extra sauce leftover.The Indian tea didn't have the strong spices that I was hoping for. It was also served in a tiny "to go" cup which I wasn't expecting while dining in for lunch. The mango lassi was delicious.Overall, I would go back to try the other dishes. The service and ambiance was good.

My husband has been here 3 times for lunch. Tonight we came for dinner and it is still a best kept secret because it was not crazy busy. I was also the only non-Indian in the place (which for me- is always a great sign in an ethnic restaurant).We ordered the chicken curry (medium) idlilittles (small idli) and two kinds of naan. SO DURN GOOD.Sunny's favorite curry ( next to his own mama's)After dinner we got a Togo container of a desert that neither of us remember what it's called... but for me it's the same flavor profile of baklava all cardamom and pine nutty- i am sure loads of almond flour as well. ALSO SO DURN GOOD.it's a little far from our house and we drove past 3 other Indian places to get here.Will we be back?HECK YES.
