I just added this restaurant on yelp! Yay! The place is in descent shape, very open with lots of tables. They have a fridge with some water and Gatorade. They don't have an official menu yet, just pictures above the register and a poster outside before you walk in.In this area is Safari Grill, which to me is still the Queen Of African Cuisine. But my chicken saquur here was very good as well. It took me 2 minutes to get my food so it's not made to order like Safari Grill. The spaghetti is very good, but Safari is still better. The hot sauce is legit though! This is a hole in the wall, 4 stars because there's nothing fancy here. But for $10 you get some authentic east African food. Come try it!

I was here in January 2019 and again today. It's in Iroquois Manor in the rear. It's a good place for authentic food. The staff are polite and the food is always plentiful and good. I had a potato, bean, and greens soup. It was delicious. I always get a banana and water with my meal.

Different cultural experience. Food excellent! Reasonably priced for the quality. Fresh and flavorful. Love the goat, excellent chicken, rice is awesome resembles a briyani. Atmosphere very relaxed, no frills at all. I have found my favorite place in Louisville!!! I hope they have great success.
