Samurai Sushi and Hibachi

Always warm and welcoming like going to you best friends house getting hugs and dinner lolStaff is top tier and they have always been! Love to drop in and see them. Everything we've ever ordered has been fire always. Never a bad experience!!!

We arrived on a Friday evening around 6:30pm and were seated quickly. We were warned they were short staffed and it might be slow, which it was, taking about 45mins to get our food. The service was still very friendly though. The ambiance was very noisy, as it's a smaller place and a lot going on. It's a challenge to have a quiet conversation. The food was excellent, and well worth the wait. The Wasabi Roll was awesome and the chicken hibachi dinner was flavored well. It wasn't very spicy though, so next time I would probably just get the regular chicken dinner. If it wasn't so loud and chaotic, I may give it 5 stars. I don't hold the slow food against them since they said they are short staffed.

I have tried MANY hibachi places in Louisville, but this one is my new favorite. After hearing countless raving reviews for this place, I knew I had to try it for myself. My boyfriend and I spent a date night here and both started with drinks, an aperol spritz and one called have a nice day. Both were great and refreshing, with the have a nice day almost resembling a smoothie. Typically at hibachi, my boyfriend and I split a sushi roll and then both get entrees. At this place, we ordered the Churchill roll, and immediately knew one wouldn't be enough after trying it, so we also ordered the red dragon roll. I liked the Churchill roll better, although both were great. For entrees, I got the teriyaki salmon and my boyfriend got the sukiyaki steak. Everything about it was amazing. I also highly enjoyed their yum yum sauce, it was the best I've ever tried! This is gonna be a new staple in our favorite restaurants, I can't wait to come back. The service was also quick and kind, and some of the most attentive service I've ever received. If you try this place you won't regret it!

Tried this place on a Friday night at 6:30 PM it was crowded, although we were quickly seated at a Hibachi table, with two other small groups. Nice people good conversations while we were enjoying our cocktails. Sushi and sashimi were good, way too much dressing on the salad I would ask on side, entrées very good as well. Chef did a good job without whole lot of the usual fanfare. Our server Amy did a great job as well. Overall kind of typical hibachi place but with better food and service

Great service and delicious sushi! Our drinks were refilled several times and dirty plates removed quickly. I wish there were more bento box and nigiri options. Other than that, I would return again and recommend to others.

We came here for hibachi in mid June. Hibachi is a fun thing to do with kids, and mine enjoyed themselves. My son is still glowing about the clear soup, and they don't eat fried rice...ever. But they eat it here! Really enjoyed ourselves. Wait staff and chef/entertainer were friendly and lively. We had a great time. We forgot to call for a reservation, so we arrived on a Saturday right at open. We were glad we did, as the room filled up while we were there. This is our go to for this style of food!

This is one of my go-to spots for sure! I love doing the Hibachi side. But I also love the restaurant side as well. When I do the restaurant side, I'm good with a simple Salmon Lovers roll (actually 2 of them) plus hot green tea. Every now and then I'll get a beer but regardless of what I drink, the food is great to me. And the servers remember me and will usually offer me my usual before I even have to say the word. I appreciate that kind of service because that tells me that they appreciate my service.

Great food! They have an extensive selection of sushi and hibachi options. It's a cute restaurant with a lot of ethnic flair and it's very clean. Service was quick (cocktail within 2 mins of sitting down? Yes, please!) and the people were friendly. I didn't realize you could order hibachi without going through the whole production, so it was great to have steak, veggies, and rice quickly after a long day of meetings. I come to Louisville frequently for work and I'll definitely dine here again.

Ordered several rolls and sashimi. This is sushi for people who don't know sushi. Buffet quality. Expensive and 100% not good quality ingredients.
