Sam's Pizzeria

My husband and I love Sam's. They are always welcoming and friendly, great service. Their foods are always freshly made and delicious. We will miss them, heading back to Washington. Kinda of a hole in the wall, but their pizza is good. If you like thin crispy crust it is perfect. Ordered carry out and order was ready on time and super hot. When in Evansville, I will definitely come here again.

ordered an Italian sandwich to go the other day, instead of oil and vinegar they use Italian dressing, they should at least have an oil and vinegar option, otherwise not too shabby considering it's not an Italian area,

Never got to order as no one ever answered the phone. Tried 15 times. Would have like to have tried the pizza. Not a good way to run a business. Do not be fooled by the delivery as it will never happen since they do not answer the phone.

Their strombolis are awesome. However, I've tried to call several different times and nobody answers the phone. I drove by there the other day to see if they were open and they were. Not sure what's going on with the phone not being answered but it sure discourages me from trying to order.

Really good, reasonably priced pizza. The guy who took my order was joking around with me. Very friendly staff. You can dine in. It's got a good local west side feel. Plenty of off street parking. Try it out!

My favorite spot for Stromboli's togo! The pizza is also delicious, fresh and affordable.

Their sandwiches are to die for! The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend trying if you haven't already!

The calzone I got from there was life changing. 10/10 recommend this place for a family vibe with finger lickin good food

We've been fans of Sam's stromboli for about 20 years. The place changed ownership recently and they are attempting to improve the place. But, something has happened to the strom. The ones we had tonight were nothing near what they used to be. The bread was soggy, the meat was not cooked as well and the sandwich just wasn't baked as well as in the past. I was told by workers that the recipes are the same. But, apparently, the preparation has changed. I certainly hope they get back to the prior quality, but it will be a while before we go back. They used to be the best stroms in town, but now they are WAY down the list.
