Sam's Hot Dog Stand

The customer service was great. They acknowledged us as soon as we walked in. The food came quick and was very good. The employees were very approachable.

I've been bringing the kids here on bikes since pre Corona lol. We love it and a great bike ride with plenty of bicycle parking lol. Take the kids and get a dog and get some exercise Lexington!!

Solid lunch spot. It's cheap, it's delicious, and the people are super nice. Just keep in mind that it's hot dogs and not fancy cuisine and you'll walk away full and happy.

I was so happy this place had a veggie dog on the menu! I'm a pescatarian but I love dogssss. They staff were so sweet and fast. Everything was fresh and I absolutely loved the potato salad.

Usually open until 1 on weekends but sometimes they close early and it makes me sad.

After spending a nice morning visiting Mary Todd Lincoln's House I was looking for a place to get a quick lunch. I stopped to visit Lexington's wonderfull library and S's HD S was right around the corner.I asked the friendly girl behind the counter the brand of hotdogs they sell and she told me they are Farmland brand.They sell a regular size dog and a double width, I ordered one of each, The dogs are all beef and are pretty tasty, I prefer a natural casing dog but these were ok, not exceptional for good.

Food is great, service with a smile and it's what you would expect a hot dog stand to be!!

I love their hot dogs with chili, mustard, onions and slaw. I always order 2 and wish I had a 3rd! Paired with an Ale-8-one, it's perfection!

All star dogs, great experience, great food, great customer service. A great place to visit while in Lexington, KY.
