Sammy's Craft Burgers & Beer

We go by Sammy's when we are on that side of town. The food is good, BUT the price was a shocker. Burger- $23Lettuce- $1Pickle - $.75Tomato- $.75Coke - $4.75Glad I didn't ask for mayo. Who knows what they would have charged. Just not worth the price. We always support local, but not when I feel like they are trying to take advantage of you. Sorry Sammy, you just lost a customer.

My experience here was easily 5 out of 5. Food, service & ambience was all top notch!I had the Sammy's Cuban with slaw. This Cuban had pulled pork AND ham with Swiss cheese and grilled pineapple. The sourdough bun perfectly grilled topped this bad boy off! This is an exceptionally delicious Cuban!My son had the Party of 3. He got to pick 3 burger styles to try. He selected: Anthony Munoz legendary burger: a mix of beef burger and chorizo, bacon, corn fritters, pepper Jack cheese, greens and tomato. Wow! Luncho burger: mozzarella cheese chimichurri sauce, lettuce and tomato. Ooo! Fire in the Hole burger. Not super hot but it was one great burger. Pepper Jack cheese, chipotle adobo, breaded jalapeño, field greens and tomato.We also had Mexican street corn and fiesta fries. Both were unique and delicious!As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

The food was really good. Sliders were the size of McDonald's cheeseburgers, but obviously much better quality. The classic burger may have been one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Perfectly cooked mid well with a crispy sear and juicy. Great special sauce. Onion rings were good but could have been crisper. We went at lunch on a Tuesday so it was packed; but understandable for a small "hole in the wall" gem. Wait until 1:30 if you can. Great atmosphere.

We were in Cincinnati and found this amazing gem on yelp! So glad we went!!! First of all, the service is top notch! We started with the beer cheese and pretzels! I could have licked the container of cheese!!! Hu decided to get the beer cheese bacon burger with the beer cheese fries! I got the chicken Philly with fries and a side of beer cheese. The chicken seasoning totally made the sandwich! The decor was cool. One wall had a mural of the owner!!!! I saw a few reviews about the price. The ingredients are high quality and everything was cooked when ordered!!! It is worth the price! Our waiter was amazing!! Will stop every time we are in Cincinnati!!!

We had been on the road for some time during our cross country road trip and saw that this was basically the only place that would still be open by the time we would be pulling up to our hotel right by it, so I called and ordered for pick up. Lady who took my order over the phone was polite as well as understanding of my baby crying in the background. Very thankful for that. Can't speak for the actual service if dining in, but when I went to pick up my order, the place was pretty packed with smiling people, so seems like it is a fun place people like to go to. Minus 3 stars because of the food itself. I ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads and a guacamole burger. The salads were pretty small considering they are like $19 each and Caesar salad is just romaine lettuce, croutons and a bit of cheese. They did this thing where they made a parm crisp for the salad, however, it wasn't crispy and just ended up chewy/rubbery. The grilled chicken breast that it was topped with was good though. The burger patty was cooked to a nice medium rare as requested, however, the burger overall wasn't great because the guacamole on it had so much lime to the point that the entire flavor of the burger was just sour. Was honestly expecting more because they are literally a craft burger joint.

Delicious food and amazing customer service! We ordered take-out about an hour before they closed and it was ready in 15 minutes. We ordered two Sammy's burgers to-go with a side of regular and sweet potato fries. The burgers were perfectly cooked and DELICIOUS! The price is a bit on the high end, but worth every penny. The employees were friendly and engaged us in meaningful and fun conversation! Next time, we'll have to dine-in. The interior of the restaurant is soccer themed and seems very cozy!

Jimmy steered me right tonight. I was going to do some tacos and he guided me to a custom mushroom burger with sourdough crust ends grilled perfect. This was a patty melt from heaven. Super glad I found this place on yelp! Thanks Sammys Craft Burgers!

I wouldn't come back. Burgers were outrageously priced from $20-35. Maybe I cheaped out, but this 21 dollar burger really wasn't all that unique or tasty. Portion size for that price really hurt, as I had eaten breakfast and still walked away hungry. Ordered my burger medium and it came medium/well. The fries were very tasty but there's just not enough there. If the prices were more reasonable this could be a great spot.

We stopped here last night for a quick bite and boy were we blown away!The food and service was soo good!!! We had the classic burger with side salad and the Avocado tacos!All were done perfectly... the side of black beans was substantial as was the side salad ( with radish, cheese, tomato, onion, cucumber!)Great cozy atmosphere on a dreary Halloween night!Thank you to our wonderful server and bartender!!!

If you can afford to eat here, you can afford to eat somewhere better. 23 dollars for a burger is a horrible deal, especially when there's other places nearby that sell burgers of the same quality for less. Not to mention charging 7 dollars for a root beer that doesn't even have free refills feels like a scam. I've been here a few times, and not once did I feel the price I paid reflected the quality of my meal. Try out Senate or the Brown Dog Cafe in the nearby Summit Park if you want an upscale burger that better reflects its cost. Only if you're staying at the nearby hotel and your car won't start and you just hate having money in your bank account should you come here.
