Y'all, go check this place out! It's located in a hidden spot, on Boardwalk and it's never busy. I'm afraid that if people don't find out about this place soon, it may succumb to the pandemic. The homemade sauces are to die for, let's just start there. And second, I'll admit that I've gotten carryout from there two days in a row. I will say that the online ordering platform on Yelp is powered by Grubhub and the prices vary from the dine in menu. The torta here is literally the best in Lexington, and I've eaten them from more local places than I care to admit. The bread was so fresh that I'm thinking it was homemade. The steak option literally looked like it had a pound of beef on it. The melted cheese and the guacamole were fantastic as well. It was like a fat cheese steak sandwich at half the cost of a usual cheese steak sandwich. Oh, and it also comes with an order of fries, which is a nice surprise. I've also had the chicken burrito plate. It comes with two burritos, rice, beans, cheese sauce and guacamole. The guacamole and cheese sauce is sooo good. I think the white queso is a regional thing and I'm glad, it's my favorite. I recommend asking for the cheese sauce on the side so that you can add some to the rice. Thank me later.

Bad bad bad. When we walked in for the first time ever I kinda liked the vibe of the atmosphere but it went downhill very quickly after that. My wife ordered what would normally be her favorite plate. Pollo con tajadas. Needless to say the chicken smelled like it was rotten. Absolutely horrible. She took one bite and almost vomited. We advised our waitress and she did offer something else and my wife politely declined. She then informed us that someone else recently complained the same exact thing. I ordered papusas which I usually thoroughly enjoy but they were raw. They then tried to charge us for the horrible food that my wife could not bear to eat and to make matters worse, they also automatically charged a tip already included in the bill. We will never come back to this restaurant. Absolutely horrible experience.

I am in love with this place, so glad that Lexington has a pupuseria!! I came in for dinner with my husband and my mom a few weeks ago. I love Honduran food and it's not always easy to find. I was craving the pollo con tajadas dish. It is a fried half-chicken over plantains all topped with shredded cabbage and a delicious creamy sauce. I have had this dish in other cities and I was looking for it here in Lexington. I also love pupusas, and actually, I think I would absolutely love anything on the menu here. It is very flavorful and satisfying food. Check it out, you will not be disappointed. As a side note, the interior of the building is much nicer than the front!

My husband and I were in the mood to try something new so we decided to give this restaurant a try. We did a pick up, the food was ready pretty quickly. We tried a variety of pupusas, tostones & a tilapia dish. The fish was just okay, but I would highly recommend the pupusas! They're flavorful, cheesy and delicious. The service wasn't the best, it seemed like they canceled our order and my husband had to call and make sure that wasn't the case, but I think it was just a misunderstanding. Try this restaurant if you're in the mood for something new.

Completely worth the drive down from Cincinnati. Best tasting pupusas I've had since leaving Los Angeles. Wish I had a photo to post but they looked so good I dove right in.Edit. Wife got a picture before I tore them up

This is a nice Salvadoran restaurant with some pretty good food! The chips and salsa that are brought out are a nice start to the meal. If you've never had a pupusa, here's your chance. They're super delicious and served with a slaw called curtido which is like a mild sauerkraut... yummy! We also had the yuca with Chicharron which was super good. The yuca is fried and tastes like French fries, but better! I'd like to return and try some of the other items on the menu. Our server was very kind and took care of us well!

Same restaurant, nice new clean location. My food was good and I left satisfied. This place may have the best salsa I've ever eaten especially if you like cilantro. I even came back the next day for the lunch buffet. It caters more towards a person from central or Latin America but I think you can find enough stuff there to eat or at least go and try. They also have really good rice! Come give them a try at their new location.

Being from El Salvador, I crave my kind of food. Having this restaurant just one hour away its a trip well worth it! Even though they cater other type of dishes (mexican dishes) I felt like home . We ordered pupusas. Empanada. 2 chicken tamales. Horchata- our signature drink! Everything was to order.( Except the tamales and the drink. ) it took sometime to get it. Which only means -its fresh!! A+ for that. This is not a fancy place. Only one girl running as waiter. Cashier. Bus boy. Practically doing everything. This is our 2nd time here and the taste is the same. YUM! Coming to lexington again. Very soon!!!

Wow! I do like trying these mom and pop style places for their amazing offerings but let me just tell you, Sabor Latino Pupuseria does what they do extremely well! They provide complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were warm and salsa was fresh and of course, home made. First, I ordered two bean and cheese pupusas along with two asada Mexican street tacos. The tacos were wrapped in two corn tortillas, with onions and cilantro. The brought out two types of spicy sauces.
